JOE SCARBOROUGH, MSNBC: And Rick Tyler, here we go with the Republican Party again, here in the state of Alabama, a state I know well and love, but you can go around the country and see the Trump effect on one Republican Party after another, and it is truly distressing all in support of a president who says he's going to seize private lands and told his aides to do it illegally and he would pardon them. From a president who ordering private companies to move out of other countries, a guy who's running up the biggest debt ever, some of the biggest deficits ever, and this is the guy that Trump Republicans are following over the cliff, politically.
RICK TYLER, MSNBC: Donald Trump has the single largest operating deficit in American history, and he passes budgets without really any negotiation at all, you know, this is what conservatives used to try to do, get a smaller more responsible, limited government. He's gone in the opposite direction of that. These tariffs, which he lies about, are taxes, they hurt the poor the most. When you start taxing food products at 25%, that doesn't mean anything probably to me and you, Joe. We could probably afford that. But it means a lot to a lot to people who can't afford, it is maybe the difference between eating today or not.
You know, on issue after issue after issue, what the Republican Party stood for, what it used to say it stood for, it doesn't stand for those things anymore. The Republican Party, as far as I can tell, is the Republican Party is gone, dead and buried and it is probably not coming back.

The old Democratic Party is dead. There is a realignment of political parties in this country. The GOP under has become a populist working class party. The Democrats have become a radical progressive party. This realignment will continue in 2020.
As I said.
I live in a purple state and my CD has switched parties 5 times in the last six elections.
I have posted here over and over that the GOP is dying, already dead in many places, in ten years its most loyal voters will be under the grass - its tome to get on with the replacement.
During the Bush administration, the nation’s debt doubled.
During the Obama administration, the nation’s debt doubled again.
During Trump’s administration the debt has done up about $2 trillion so far.
I don’t remember anyone of authority actually voicing negative comments about what took place under Bush or Obama. Now it’s a critical issue. LMAO What hypocrites!
I don’t want the debt going up. Here are our choices.
1. Congress sets a balanced budget and sticks to it.
2. Trump refuses to sign any budgets until Congress balances the budget.
One won’t happen. Two can’t happen, because as soon as Trump refuses to sign a budget and certain parts of the nation shut down, the Republicans will be slamming him shoulder to shoulder with the Democrats.
There’s only so much a president can do folks.
The Republican House in 2017 and 2018, did nothing to get spending under control.
Now we’re back to blaming Trump, with a democRat House.
I’m really sick of the folks who find every excuse in the book to trash Trump while claiming they really support him.
“A lot of seafood, especially the farmed versions, come from China, even so-called Alaskan seafood, you have to check the fine print”
That’s right. I forgot about that. Seems I’ve seen tilapia from China. I suppose China exports salmon as well. I just bought 2 lb of shrimp and didn’t even to think to check the label for its origin. I got it at a good price, so I won’t be surprised if it came from there.

They can’t help it...... it’s what they do
If they were given free chocalate cake, they would complain about the icing or the portion size. They cut off their noses to spite their faces
Nah. The 1992 election of Clinton was a shocker. After kicking out a candidate for adultery in 1988, they embraced one in 1992 and the American people elected him, thanks to cooperation with GHW Bush (raised taxes) and Perot (sucked away Republican votes.)
That 1992 election taught the Democrats that morality didn't matter to the electorate, at least their electorate.
Agreed...
would have
They dont get Trumps half-joking sense of humor. Or they do get that hes half-joking, but they pretend hes serious to try and make him look crazy.
He asks about nuking hurricanes, or buying Greenland, or sending illegals to sanctuary cities, or liking the war heroes who dont get shot down, or getting the Russians to find Hillary Clintons lost emails, or respecting dictators, or how if you are rich women will let you grab them by the pussy, or that Mexico will pay for the wall, or that hes the chosen one.
These are all half jokes - they are funny but serious at the same time. They are all the kind of things I would say, half-joking but also half-serious.
The press thinks they will get Trump in trouble but they never do - people who support President Trump like his sense of humor and the way he jokes the truth. People who dont like it were never going to vote for him anyway.
Great post as usual, D1.
EABODADIAF, Uncle Loony.
Congratulations on your ignorant post.
The dying began after WWII, when Trotskyists calling themselves Neoconservatives usurped the party.
That is why the “Republicans” hated Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, Pat Buchanan, and Donald Trump.
Free Traitors are so stupid when it comes to tariffs. They are the reason for our bending over to China for decades, NOT the Democrats. Can’t stand them
President Trump has bigger things to deal with right now than deficits. Once the Deep State is dismantled, deficits will be dealt with and will be an easy fix. Deficit spending is enabled by the Federal Reserve System. That’s the one thing RINOs don’t want to address. I wonder why. RINOs love to focus on the symptoms to problems, not the problems themselves. That’s because they’re part of the problem. RINOs are controlled opposition and ultimately do not have the interests of the average American at heart.
Actually, since so much of the Republican party stands for basically nothing, we should start calling the actual conservatives the RINOs.
We get some apple juice from China. If the price of that swill suddenly goes up 30%, so be it.
Good post.
Thanks
