Former Ohio Gov. John Kasich told CNN Tuesday night that he doesn't see any path "right now" to beating President Trump in the Republican primary. He noted that "that doesn't mean there wouldn't be a path down the road... But right now, I don't see it."

You’re an open borders shill, Kasich.
You don’t have a path to the nomination regardless of who is in the race.

If just one candidate realizes that and holds firm to it then they will have the nomination. If there are two or more then those candidates will fight it out.

And that is why we have President Trump.

I said in 2013 the next election would be about immigration. That’s still true, and 2020 will also be about immigration. The supreme court? Yeah, we want a supreme court that will support deporting the illegals.

There is no “down the road” unless something earth-shaking happens. It’s already almost September, with the Iowa caucus only about 5 months away. There isn’t nearly enough time to organize a credible primary challenge against even a vulnerable incumbent President. Whatever Trump’s vulnerabilities might be next November, he is not vulnerable to a primary challenge.

The only thing that bothers me about Trump’s prospects is that there are so many far-left candidates. Maybe there’s more support for those positions that we realize.

Perhaps the best thing to do to cure peoples’ love of socialism, is to actually give it to them for a few years.

But the problem is, Socialists don’t give up power without force.

“I Don’t See A Path To Beat Trump Right Now”

That is because there is no path to beat him!

Which is why the whole anti-Trump establishment is praying to their various and assorted deities for economic catastrophes, preferably involving the painful and high loss of life to children and animals.

Mr 2% in 2016 doesn’t see a path after Trump has done wonders.

Hahaha. He just keeps trying to be relevant.

Loser.

The only way Trump could be contested is in open primary states, where Dems could vote for Kasich. But given the insane nature of the Dem clown car I cannot see Dems givingbup their primary votes to vote for Kasich.

If Kasich supports President Trump in 2020 he might be named Asst. Postmaster General!

There is ZERO path to beat Trump in the primary or the general... and anyone with even an ounce of political understanding KNOWS THIS.

Short of an economic collapse, or some other major black swan event, there is NO path to the white house for the Dems... no matter WHO they nominate.

The entire purpose of the D presidential candidate this year is to keep the base engaged enough that they show up so that they don’t wind up getting crushed down ballot.

He noted that "that doesn't mean there wouldn't be a path down the road... But right now, I don't see it."

I can't imagine what that path might be.
