Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG) is no friend of the Second Amendment. Justice Ginsburg voted against the Heller decision. She voted against the McDonald decision. Her opinion on the Second Amendment is clear. From armsandthelaw.com:
“If the court had properly interpreted the Second Amendment, the Court would have said that amendment was very important when the nation was new,” she said. “It gave a qualified right to keep and bear arms, but it was for one purpose only — and that was the purpose of having militiamen who were able to fight to preserve the nation.””
Ruth's position is to define the Second Amendment out of existence, without any argument, because she believes it has no purpose in modern society. Her position has been: The Second Amendment is old. Therefore we can ignore it. That is the Progressive position about the Constitution. It is old, therefore we can ignore it.
On 21 December of 2018, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had the lower lobe of her left lung removed because it contained two malignant cancer nodules. From theatlantic.com:
On Friday, surgeons in New York removed the lower lobe of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s left lung. According to a statement from the Supreme Court, two nodules—which had been discovered in a CT scan after Ginsburg broke three ribs last month—were determined to be malignant.

I wouldn’t say we are at the stage of loading magazines with our bulk ammo but we are probably close. We are probably at the stage of getting out the e-tool and start think about where to dig in.

The left will be crazy and frustrated. The two women who are most prominently mentioned as her replacement will provide none of the usual angles of attack the Left uses to degrade the nominees. Charges of rape will be absurd. Charges that their religious affiliations are reasons to reject, are illegal. In other words, the Left’s ammunition against this nomination is going to have to be very unusual and absurd allegations which all normal voters will know are baseless.

There’s always racism. Democrats can dig up or fabricate something she said in the past that sounds racist.
The so called Biden rule is a lame duck election year. Bambi was a lame duck, Trump is not. Not that it matters. Linda Graham had said he would not confirm in an election year, but that was before Kavanaugh, and Russia gate and McCains death, he seems to have grown a pair since then. Still it only takes 3 repubs to say no next year and it’s a done deal no replacement until after November
I won’t miss her, and I’m not going to pretend to wish her well.
We all go when it’s our time. She had her time. She helped cause a lot of damage to this country and our culture.
And the Left is already violent.
They will demand that her vacancy be filled by the next president and they will go full Ape $&!t if they don’t get their way.
