Twitter is a sewer. It brings out the worst in humanity, Stephens posted. I sincerely apologize for any part Ive played in making it worse, and to anyone Ive ever hurt. Thanks to all of my followers, but Im deactivating this account.
Stephens announcement comes after he flew off the handle on Dave Karpf, a media and public affairs professor for George Washington University who called him a bedbug. This appeared to be an off-hand joke about the news that the Times recently had a bedbug outbreak in their newsrooms.

Good grief....sensitive much? I can’t imagine what he’d do if someone tweeted a pic of his severed head, dripping blood. Suck it up, buttercup.

This is a funny story, illustrating the total lack of insight, lack of humor that many Dems have.

Karpf posted a screenshot of an email he received from Stephens, which had a threatening tone to it since it challenged the professor to come to my home, meet my wife and kids, talk to us for a few minutes, and then call me a bedbug to my face.

He’s the guy who flew off the handle on Dave Karpf.
Yeah, I know. Who’s Dave Karpf?

TWITTER is America’s bathroom wall. I erased it out of my life a long time ago. It tears the heart... and then the soul.

“lack of humor that many Dems have.”
They do find it amusing when their political enemies are debased and abused.
To: csvset
How is that a “threatening tone”?

I tried Twitter for a while hoping to make a positive religious influence. It IS a sewer. It is worse then you can imagine. Evil run amuck. It’s not worth to cast those pearls among swine.
