When libertarian billionaire David Koch passed away last week, the left couldn't -- and wouldn't -- hide its glee. Finally, an important funder of right-wing causes had died! Bill Maher even said that he was "glad" that Koch had passed away, adding he hoped "the end was painful."
That's the kind of hate the left had and continues to have for Mr. Koch, a man who became extremely rich and who then proceeded to use that wealth to support causes he believed in.
Although he was most famous for donating to political causes, Mr. Koch was extremely generous to other causes as well. Take this example, reported by the New York Post (HT: Adam Ford):
Koch, who fought prostate cancer after being diagnosed 27 years ago, donated a record $150 million to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2015 through the David H. Koch Charitable Foundation. The hospital named a cancer center in his name after getting its largest donation ever. [Emphasis added] Amazing, right? $150 million! To one cancer center. These funds helped the center provide better care for its patients, who are, therefore, the actual recipients of this amazingly generous gift.
Guess who's among those patients? NPR reports:
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just completed three weeks of radiation treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court disclosed Friday.
So wait. First David Koch donated $150 million to this cancer center, after which Justice Ginsburg received treatment there? The first, who was positively hated by the left (with TV show hosts saying they hoped his end was painful), basically funded the treatment of the second, who is absolutely loved and adored by those same leftists?

The Left is so truly sick and hateful. It should be their demise — the twisted electorate needs to get cleaned up. Let us hope the outcome of the 2020 election goes a long way to accomplishing this.
“(with TV show hosts saying they hoped his end was painful)”
That’s odd...I feel the same way towards democrats.
And if she dies, Maher will blame Koch.

One of those causes was open borders and turning the USA into North Mexico.
Should have donated his money to rural, republican area hospitals rather than ungrateful big city democrat already rich hospitals.
How do you spell....hippo-crit
Well, the left also live in a nation built by conservatives. They’re parasites. It’s what they do.
So this really isn’t news.
Karma is a funny thing. The things you throw out there usually come back at you ten fold.
[[The Left is so truly sick and hateful.]]
I really really hope the pendulum is swinging back towards morality- We desperately need to send a very clear message to the hateful left that their despicable hateful agendas are not acceptable- by winning the presidency and mid terms in landslides-
The left is nothing more than a ball of totalitarian hate. If they get in power, they will murder us and our children.

I doubt Bill Maher ever gave anything to a group that helped all citizens... his cash would go to himself or leftwing groups.
If the pendulum doesn’t swing to the right next year, I suppose this country (the evil and the good who didn’t/couldn’t prevail) will probably deserve what it gets. Then, when the result becomes painfully obvious, I hope it won’t be too late to pull back from the approaching abyss.
Well...it was either get treated there or try out obamacare. And she is a democrat after all.
If Karma was a real thing (or God) it wouldn’t be usually. Just the injustice in this world is enough to disprove the false-god Karma.
Well, let’s examine the thought
RBG thinks she was treated at the Koch funded hospital.
Truth is that they don’t care about RBG either. They are just pissed the old bag might die and give Trump another pick.
Karma is not a god. Karma is the way things work, and even if it doesnt seem like it, there is no way of avoiding Gods justice. Just because you dont always get to see it doesnt mean its not there.
Why do you think you are admonished to do onto others as you would have them do onto you. Do you think those were just idle words? A mere suggestion?
