Attorney General William Barr tamps down conspiracy theories, but notes ‘irregularities’ at jail

Full title: Attorney General William Barr tamps down conspiracy theories, but notes ‘irregularities’ at jail where Jeffrey Epstein died

Jeffrey Epstein’s death was ruled a suicide by hanging, and Attorney General William Barr said Wednesday that he has no reason to doubt it — despite “irregularities” at the jail where the accused child sex trafficker died.

The 66-year-old financier’s apparent suicide this month in a jail cell in lower Manhattan sent shockwaves through the political landscape, allowing a wave of conspiracy theories about a possible cover-up to saturate social media.

But Barr, the top law enforcement official in the U.S., pushed back on Wednesday, telling reporters at a roundtable event in Dallas that he has “seen nothing that undercuts the finding of the medical examiner that this was a suicide.”

Asked if the Epstein’s death suggested broader problems with the Bureau of Prisons, Barr said, “I do think that there are some irregularities at the center.”

But he said he has “every confidence” that his new hand-picked director to run the bureau, Kathy Hawk Sawyer, will “be able to address any management or operational deficiencies at the bureau.”

"Irregularities"? Gee, ya think so?

What a travesty, and an absolute joke.

If anyone still has hopes that Bagpipe Barr is going to clean out the Dept of Injustice (DOJ) and the Federal Dept of Injustice (FBI), maybe you should put your eggs in another basket.

Get ready for any "report" that comes out of the Swamp to use the same mealy mouthed language we are so used to:

- "Mistakes were made...."

- "Doesn't rise to the level of....."

- "Recommend reform and increased oversight and employee training...."

After years of "BOOMS!" and "BOMBSHELLS!" After scores of "TICK TOCKS!" We have nothing.

No justice. No mass arrests. Nothing.

Well, except the key potential witness against the Deep State murdered in his cell only 6 weeks after being picked up.

Did I say murdered? Gee, sorry. I am a "Conspiracy Theorist." Right Bagpipe Barr?

Maybe Epstein is alive and the story had to be made he had died to further the cause.

(Besides, if they can keep JFK, Jr. alive, why not Epstein?)

And people get mad that I’m glad he’s dead.

He was only charged after an attack on one of Trump’s picks and probably also to try and tie the president into it somehow.

Whoever was behind that misjudged TERRIBLY.

He was NEVER going to survive to go to court.

And it’s a miracle he got arrested again and as a result got murdered.

A number of people called his death here days before it happened.

No one was every going to go to jail and he was dead once the powers that be couldn’t quash things from day one

And just what is Barr supposed to do? He got the guards and Warden out of there...started an inquiry....That’s all he could do.

Mr Barr, Epstein’s death was predictable and predicted. So was its ending the “investigation”. Both have happened. Oh...you haven’t publically admitted the latter yet? Yawn. We’ll wait.

It is funny because we all knew he was a “dead man walking” but it was still a shock.

I know, you literally had dozens if not hundreds of people predicting he'd be murdered, and he was.

That's banana republic territory.

Just like #FusionCollusion, with what we all are well aware of there are a number of people who should be arrested today. I don’t know who is buying this crap “We need to investigate further before...”. Pick a statute of the criminal code and watch how long it takes for them to come get YOU for violating it. They will only be too happy to leave YOUR ass sitting in jail while they figure it out.

The next one to die will be the cop who’s in for murder. He claims he has been told to shut up. Either a ploy for nicer living situation or he does KNOW TOO MUCH

Barr is demonstrating himself to be a moss covered, swamp dweller of the 1st order. Felons, psychos, conspirators & pervs are all safe from the long arm of the DOJ.

what is Barr supposed to do?

The Deep State probably has file cabinets (and/or computer disks) worth of stuff on Barr, so you are absolutely correct, there is nothing he can or will do.

Now, we need to leave the guy alone so he can conduct his phony investigation and cover-up. :-(

How about dig into the crimes and sickness that put Epstein in jail? He wasn't a traffic scofflaw, he was at the very top of an international pedophile/rape conspiracy that, by all accounts, reached the height of global political power. All this hasn't stopped with the death of Epstein.

If epstein isnt really in witness protection then there needs to be a full scale investigation into who really murdered him. To think he committed suicide before any appeal is quite ridiculous.

Barr is struggling to understand how Epstein could have accomplished all this by himself.

Either Epstein paid off the prison staff to look the other way as he committed suicide or he was murdered ...either way it’s a “conspiracy”

Frankly, I understand why guys like Barr ignore the mess we’re in, they are part of the corruption. What bothers me is how people of good will tolerate men like Barr. They are more of a problem than he is and until they change nothing else will.

But in all seriousness, it is painfully obvious that Epstein was a front for Intel Ops for “The Five Eyes”. His “fortune” has “no visible means of support”. He is advertised as a “Hedge Fund Guy” but there are no recorded transactions. He clearly had extortion material on just about every high profile powerful person in the Western Hemisphere. At least one billionaire admits he basically gave Epstein $10 million for nothing. Now the DOJ is tasked with the unenviable job of covering all this crap up because just scraping the thin surface off all this makes it very clear what is underneath it and “can’t be exposed for National Security means and methods...”
