At least 10 Republican members of Congress are supporting Israel's decision to block Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from entering the country after Trump specifically requested it.
On Thursday, Trump tweeted that it would be a sign of "great weakness" if Israel allowed the two congresswomen, who have been outspoken critics of Trump, to enter the country. Later that day, Israel officially blocked their entrance.
"Israel’s denial of entry to Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar is a sign of weakness, and beneath the dignity of the great State of Israel," Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.
Most Republicans in the Senate and House stayed quiet on the issue, ceding the argument to Trump and the right-wing government of Israel, currently headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
But instead of standing with their fellow members of Congress who are elected to represent the United States, several Republicans made their preference for the foreign government's position clear.

Ironically, when one of those Congressmen listed, Steve Scalise, was badly wounded by a crazed Bernie supporter, Nancy Pelosi couldn’t even utter a few words of pro forma condemnation of the shooter, who had set out to bag a Congressman. Now all Congressmen have got to be supportive of Ilhan and Rashida’s attempt to make problems for an ally, and to do otherwise is unthinkable. As they say in baseball, Nancy, this is too little, too late.
You want sincerity in Congress critters? Maybe in 1788. Now just be happy that they do the right thing even if it’s for the wrong reason.

But didn’t he tell Rashida and Omar to visit the countries of their origin and fix them up, and then come back and show everyone how it’s done? Everyone was scandalized and called it “racism”. Now he supports Rashida NOT visiting the country of her origin, and it’s still “racism”.
I would never “side with” those leftist disgraces in our Congress.
I’m sure that True Blue searched and was unable to find examples of Democrats siding with other countries over the US.
But the funny thing, trying finding a case where Democrats actually sided with the US over over other countries, and you’ll have to go back decades.
That is who they are now, and what they have become.
I vote, but I’m so jaded now that I’m not sure I can even do that. When I see the opportunity we had the first two years of this administration and the RINOs tossed it for the Chamber of Commerce, the Kochs and their donors. They don’t even try to hide it anymore.
They are siding with a Jewish state against antisemitic congresswomen.
When parliamentarians and other political riff-raff in Britain were taking up their cause of disenviting the President I didn’t hear the press and Demnuts condemning their actions. Chalk this up to the usual bs hypocrisy from the left.
They respect a country to deny entry by those who intend to do harm to it. Whatchoo talkin’ about, Willis?

I expect there are far more. Just many don’t want to way in. Congresswomen don’t have the right to go to other countries. Just like the rest of us, they need a visa.
I can recall Teddy Kennedy telling Gorbachev, or Andropov, or Brerznev, or possibly all three not to pay any mind to Reagan, because he’ll be out of office soon. Did he also do the same with Ortega in Nicaragua, or was that someone else?
Since the other Republicans are silent, it is most likely that they supported Israel. I do. If you hang out with infiltrators and murderers, then you should be denied entry. After all, in Israel infiltration and terror is not theoretical. It is their regular life. They must be blunt and decisive

Yea, it was Kennedy sending John Tunny (I think his office manager) over there to tell the Soviets to wait out Reagan. That came out soon after the Cold War ended.
Regarding the Sandinistas - that was like the entire Democrat leadership back then, giving them political advice to try to stay in power through Reagan’s presidency. This was pretty much known real-time, as I remember
There is NO WAY either could be called anything but PURE TREASON, and what really sucks about it is that virtually NO ONE, not even people on our side, seemed all that upset or worried about what the Democrats were doing and no one would question their patriotism, when it was OBVIOUSLY proven to be suspect (at best). Perhaps if we had identified the Democrats for who they really are back then, they would never have again gotten the level of power that they’ve had and still have.
And, sadly, when we find out that Trump was NOT a Russian Agent, very few on our side seemed bothered by the fact that the country was lied to for 3 friggen years, and very few seemed bothered that our entire intelligence apparatus was turned against a political candidate. They only seemed relieved that it was used against a Republican, for they know the country would have had a MELTDOWN if the same had been done against a Democrat.
