 Cops: Penn Township woman disrupted porch party with ethnic intimidation

A Penn Township couple alleges that a porch party was disrupted Saturday by a neighbor hitting their backyard fence with an aluminum baseball bat as she yelled threatening racial epithets toward the gathering, township police said.

Beth D. Knapp, 50, of Nancy Drive was charged with ethnic intimidation, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct by township police after the 10:54 p.m. incident. The complaints were served on Knapp via mailed summons by Harrison City District Judge Helen Kistler’s office.

Patrolman Thomas Seefeld said the male victim who hosted the porch party is black.

Seefeld reported in court documents that the couple were on the back deck with family and friends “when a white female began striking their wooden fence with a baseball bat while yelling racial slurs.”

First off, a white person should never, ever under any circumstances use the n----- word. That being said, I am guessing this party included some loud and raunchy rap music and the male "victim's" cries are near total BS. If the law couldn't quiet the party, then it should not be taking his side either.

This sounds like a case to take to Judge Judy where they both get compensated for their time by having the charges dismissed in exchange for their theatrical performance.

I’ll bet this wasn’t the first time the loud talk and music lasted late into the night.

People who do this think the whole world should bow to them.

I will say 10:54 is late enough, but not way over the line.

I was camping one time and the next camp site over was doing this until 3:00am, with about a dozen people attending.

Some folks have no consideration of others at all.

It sounds like the female didn't exactly cover herself in glory, so she'll probably suffer some sort of penalty. But the loud, a-hole neighbors should be fined since they repeatedly ignored requests to lower the volume (and apparently turned it up louder after the cops left).
