DAYTON — A shooting with multiple fatalities and several people wounded has occurred near Ned Peppers Bar on East Fifth Street in the city of Dayton’s Oregon District. Here’s the latest:
UPDATE @ 11:30 a.m.: Connor Betts, 24, of Bellbrook has been identified as the suspected shooter in the Oregon District, government sources have confirmed to this news outlet.
Several law enforcement officers are conducting an investigation at a home Creekview Place, connected to the mass shooting. Officials only said the investigation is connected to the shooting and other details could not be released.
We’ll continue to update this story as we learn more.
UPDATE @ 10:30 a.m.: The number of injured in Sunday morning’s shooting in the Oregon District has increased to 27, according to Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley.

I wonder why Betts was refused admission to the bar? Had he caused trouble on a previous occasion, or earlier that night? Was he intoxicated? Or was there just something “off” about him? Or maybe it had nothing to do with him personally, e.g., the bar was at capacity, or it was near closing time.

After I retired from the military (2000), I got into a conversation with a young female airman who lived in the barracks. She was negative about her dating situation, and I said....well, you live in the co-ed barracks, there ought to be plenty of guys there. She just laughed. Around 40-percent of the guys were gamers, and had no social life. She laid out this lifestyle that they had, and I couldn’t believe all this time from Friday afternoon to Monday morning....being wasted on video games.
You look around today, this INCEL term is applied to a heck of a lot of young guys.

The Dayton police named the victims. One was the gunman’s sister and another one was her boyfriend. I can’t imagine that was coincidence and could be motive for the shooting.
Psychotropics aside, I wonder if the driver of such is similar to or the same as that which “motives” young men to try to become women and go so far as alter their biochemistry and mutilate their bodies?
Both groups always hold leftist/communist/fascist beliefs and both desire to solve what they perceive as a problem and to which they have one solution.
Mental illness and societal encouragement to resist societal norms and reality. Incessant programming that they are at once, victim and perpetrator.

My daughter allowed ‘them’ to give to my (her) youngest grandson.
I thought something was ‘wrong’ with him (now that I look back etc) but couldn’t put my finger on it.
Mood swings, not violent but when a kid is attentive, polite etc and then is not for a while etc, you (at least I) tend to figure it is/was growing pains.
He was trying to figure out what to do and he told me he wanted to go in the Coast Guard, which I figured was relatively ‘safe’ and I hadn’t been encouraging OR disouraging him from going in Navy-Marines-Army etc.
Anyhow, she told me he had to sit out a year and be tested as (at least) the CG wasn’t taking ‘tainted’ boys.
NOW maybe she had been told if drug use etc but when she told me he had been on it, I really blew up.

NO school administered calming drugs
AND stay away from the ‘floating mortgages’ and definitely do NOT refi with one,
AND if you absolutely NEED 10 grand, ask for 15 and you will probably get your 10.
Ask for 10 and they will more than likely ‘give you’ 7 or 8, which helps but it doesn’t.
But a lot of these lately seem like they were nice enough, as far as anyone could tell, until one day, BOOM. When they are Muslim (and supposedly moderate) we call it "Sudden Jihad Syndrome." I don't know what to call it when they're white.
And other than Ft Hood, he left out the Muslims (both accomplished and thwarted)

Oh and if we want to expand to the international equivalent of Dims, there’s that Sept 11 2001 day thingie
I substitute teach in my retirement. At least 20% of the boys are diagnosed ADD,AHDD, ODS, Bi-polar, Depressive or some other disorder. They don’t have any responsibilities, just playing computer games 8 hrs. a day. Any mention of God or the Bible brings disbelief or anger. The post-Christian liberal version of America is succeeding.

Dayton deputy police chief just read the names and demographics of the 9 victims killed. 6 of the 9 killed were African-American.
His parents (or mother and stepfather) hated Republicans. It’s all here for the few who would bother finding it and reading it.
