The problem with trying to analyze and dissect these shooters and look for cause and effect is that we have what, ten to twenty such shooters in the past few years? And how many young white guys who fall into say a ten year age group of 18 to 28? Maybe 12 to 15 million?
Ilhan Omar has one heck of a task before her, monitoring and keeping track of all those white guys. I’m afraid the problem is that now, since the specter of the mass murderer is now in our culture, the sickest minds have that possibility to obsess over and a tiny few will actually act upon it.
But it’s still such a tiny few out of the population that identifying the few who might plan and move to carry out such an act is pretty much hopeless, except possibly during the final minutes before that the act is attempted.

The theory is that this is a new type of nihilist thrill killer. It started with the Christchurch shooter. The confusing manifestos that deliberately stir up the media are part of the ‘fun’.
Lefties complaining about a problem they actually could fix. Just needs some egalitarian feminists, willing to abort any consequences, to start a “Hug an incel campaign.” Given the likely mix of volunteers the experience might otherwise traumatize them, but at least they’d no longer be incel.
I have 3 adopted children who were all labeled Bi Polar, ADHD, etc.
They were on all types of meds before we adopted them. It is not the medication itself that causes issues. It is the ups and downs from them sometimes taking the pills and sometimes not. It causes up and down psychotic emotions.
We took the medication away and they have done much better. But, I got scolded and pressured by their Doctor not to take them off their meds.
Mass shootings also involve African American, Korean American, and male and female middle eastern shooters. So in reality it would be necessary to monitor all of those groups.

But, as terrible as these mass shootings are, they are still so tiny in number compared to the male population, that it's hopeless to identify the potential shooters ahead of time, except maybe in the final minutes or hours before an attempted mass shooting is undertaken.

For example, there is a pretty good base of knowledge about the causes of gang violence in inner city neighborhoods. The government doesn't do much about it, and numerically it results in many more shootings and deaths, but at least there is a general understanding of the causes.

Something doesn’t compute.
It was a crowded street with many cops around. He was down before anyone even got a chance to call 911. There are enough security cameras around the police will probably have the entire event on video from multiple angles once the bar owners turn them in.
I would like to know what meds he's on, along with the El Paso and California shooters. But the pharma companies will probably make sure that media will bury it.
