The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and organizations funded by left-wing billionaire George Soros are bankrolling a plan to provide temporary amnesty to Venezuelas population.
Last week, the Democrat-controlled House passed a measure to create a Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program for Venezuelas population allowing nationals who are already in the U.S. to remain and incentivizing more to migrate. Thirty-nine House Republicans joined every Democrat to support the legislation, including:
Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) Rep. Michael Bost (R-IL) Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK) Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH) Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA) Rep. Don Young (R-AK)
...
The Chamber of Commerce, the countrys largest big business group, and Soros-funded organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Amnesty International USA, Inc. were the primary lobbyists pushing House Republicans to join Democrats in creating TPS for Venezuelans.
Lobbying records chronicled by OpenSecrets.org reveal that seven lobbyists for Amnesty International USA, 12 lobbyists for the ACLU, and nearly 30 lobbyists for the Chamber of Commerce pushed members of Congress to support TPS for Venezuelas population.
Already, the Chamber of Commerce has deployed more than 40 lobbyists to push GOP Senators to vote with Senate Democrats in supporting the Senate version of the TPS for Venezuelas population legislation.
TPS has become a quasi-amnesty for otherwise illegal aliens created under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1990 (INA) that prevents the deportation of foreign nationals from countries that have suffered through famine, war, or natural disasters. Since the Clinton administration, TPS has been transformed into a de facto amnesty program as the Bush, Obama, and Trump administrations have continuously renewed the program for a variety of countries.

“Temporary.”
Nothing to worry about.
Temporary my A$$.
Has to go to senate and then Trump’s desk, right?
Just checking.
There are verified to sh** where they eat and live.
*They got exactly what they voted for and will do it here.
Why can’t S0r0$ fix Venezuela?
I know several Venezuelans who are upper to middle class. They were never the majority—the poor are. The poor is where you find all the gimedats and Chavesitas.
If we let in these other folks—the middle class—the people who have had their livelihoods stolen from them, that would be ok. They NEVER supported the Socialistas.
No. Just no.
Ah, info just in time for...

Bush League Republicans are self identifying so you know who to primary out of office.
US Chamber of Commerce
I despise these bastards.
No bad deal for America is too bad for them if it lines their pockets.
Sean Duffy and Dan Crenshaw are massive disappointments. A**holes.
Anything Satan and the ACLU fund is a bad plan from rotten liars. However, it can backfire. The Abuse of Constitution Litigation Union needs to relocate to Venezuela or Somalia where they can flourish.
How would you document socialist vs conservatives trying to come over from Venezuela?
The Senate is full of Bush League Republicans.
Graham, Rubio, Alexander, Hoeven, Murkowsky, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Daines, Romney, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans.
A veto is our only hope to stop this.
Bro you listed MORE THAN ENOUGH Rs to override a veto if they flounder.
Good Lord it never ends.
Still, I think we’ll be good.
And if you knew these off the top of your head, that’s pretty dam impressive!
You could ask them where they live and grew up (neighborhood). It’s very segregated by class. Also, what the did for a living.
My good friend is a Microsoft MCSE, his father owned a large store, his step father a chemist in a petrochemical plant. They’ve all been socially penalized. His Dad had his store taken by Chavez without a single penny compensation, his Step-Dad’s firm went out of business—no chemicals! My friend took asylum in this country when he was accused of being CIA... Because he worked for Microsoft?!?
They’re all socialists. It’s a matter of degree.
Ask if theyre Chavez supporters.
A veto is our only hope to stop this.

Trump has strong support among upper and middle class Venezuelans. There were many of them on the stage behind him at a rally in FL this past spring.
I watched part of that and those people were praying and crying as Trump laid into Maduro and the commies. Also, most of them appeared European in origin.
Chavez and Maduro stole everything from the educated classes.
