Authorities in West Palm Beach, Florida are using children’s music to deter the homeless from setting up camp in a city-owned park.
West Palm Beach Lake Pavilion is a city-owned park and event venue frequently used by the homeless as a place to sleep. City officials are now playing the children’s songs “Baby Shark” and “Raining Tacos” in the park to annoy homeless campers, preventing them from sleeping, according to the Palm Beach Post.
“Legally morally ethically and even fiscally, any way you look at it, this [music] is not the right approach to this [homelessness] problem,” said Eric Tars, legal director at National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty told The Daily Caller.
“Sleep deprivation has been condemned as torture or at a minimum cruel, inhuman degrading treatment,” continued Tars. “It was condemned when they were playing loud rock music in Guantanamo or in Abu Ghraib to disrupt the detainees’ sleep patterns, and now we’re doing it to citizens,” he added.

Most of these homeless people know that if a person loads up on enough opioids, they can sleep through anything.
I wish all the homeless in these cities were directed to the front lawns of liberal politicians!
I thought orture for me is music by Minnie Ripperton or the songs “Nashville Cats” or “Afternoon Delight” or “Rockin Robin,” but these songs would drive me loco.
We lived near a gas station and convenience store that blasted “elevator music” to deter the bums and skater punks from hanging around. It was actually quite effective.
Obviously this grifter makes good money pushing straw man arguments otherwise he’d be in some other racket.
Innercity thugs have been forcing people to listen to earsplitting, window-rattling vulgar rap for decades.
Enacting a neighborhood charter that forbids loud music is “racist.”
Asking them to shut it down can get you shot.

The question I have is why are there so many homeless people? There have always been some, but public pooping etc is a pretty recent thing, and now its spreading, seems like via train, like in the past 5-6 years. The public parks are where these folks are ending up.
