When Does the Deep State Morph into the Police State in Our Country?

I recently watched a German-made political movie, The Lives of Others, which was released back in 2006. Every American should take the opportunity to watch this movie, for it portrayed the destructive consequences for the people and a society living under what was formally an all-powerful East German police state.

The East German state police agency, the Stasi, was granted virtually unlimited power to monitor and spy on the lives of their citizens with the objective of maintaining absolute control over all aspects of the personal and professional lives of its people. The Stasi was renowned for being highly proficient and effective in its ability to subjugate East Germany's citizens.

This movie is a warning to Americans about the dire consequences of increasing the powers of the state. Too many Americans take for granted the continued blessings of our great American system, instituted by the Founding Fathers, based on the premise that man can rule himself.

It seems to be more and more about the agenda of the exercising authority. These days, a speeding ticket can get you six months in jail, but cracking someone's skull with a cinder block can get you little more than a $25 citation for loitering.

What time is it now? Oh. Then five minutes from now.

I asked a police officer (retired) on another thread if it's true police still often vote DEM (!!) if they live in liberal areas, as a panel said 3 years ago. Tucker Carlson said "Wait a minute, I think that's no longer true today."

So we have to ask the police: "Whose side are you on?" In Bolshevik Russia takeover,Cuba, and revolutions in Latin American countries the police and military had to make that choice: for or against the good people vs. the totalitarians.

We are finished if the police side with the Dems for Communism. By the way, their pensions will be taken by the Dems anyway. Need the money for the socialist healthcare system.

It HAS so morphed. Try demanding the law be enforced with respect the egregious crimes of Hillary, Obama, Brennen, Comey et al. Or, better yet, get together with some buddies and try enforcing the CLEARLY broken laws...

"Patriot" Act turd and sequelae started the downfall. Now the first thing the C suckers do is seize your phone, computer and then scour your social media postings for your

THOUGHTS

so they can build some sort of "hate" crime case against you. Gestapo/Stasi techniques on steroids. Sheer deviltry.

I have been looking for links between Antifa and the instigators behind the Justice Democrats, and there is plenty of overlap. In addition, there are elements of both the Mexican drug cartels as well as old-school Mafia ties, both Russian and Sicilian, that bear some investigation as well. In short, their simultaneous control and observation of the more anarchist moves by Antifa is the petri dish of how enforcement will be carried out once the United States has turned into California/Venezuela.

When?

One has to get a background check in CA before they can buy a box of .22s.

In some venues it’s here! The author must have missed it.

I once said pretty much the same thing this article states to a co-worker when “The Lives of Others” came out: That if we aren’t careful, this will happen to us, that it should be seen as a cautionary tale. He looked at me incredulously and then laughed.

A police state is like the last administration that used the nations police and military data gathering systems to spy on opposition candidates. A police state also gathers information on individuals through daily chat and searching for data like Fakebook and google which the CIA started. They make laws and take on regulation authorities not granted them.

Already has.

I was gonna say it happened in about 2001, but I’d have been wrong.

Waco, Ruby Ridge, Elian Gonzalez.

Even before that, there were rogue agencies and agents operating inside the USA with full knowledge and approval of Congress and the Executive branch... as I personally experienced in the 1980s. but it was Bill Clinton that started making it publicly overt.

And George W. Bush that made it law.

can’t seem to find confirmation through Google search but they were going to purchase the actual buildings used by the Stasi in East Germany for a new headquarters. How quaint.

The “Lives of Others” was an extremely powerful movie. They way they performed surveillance in what what ostensibly a more “non-technical” era was disturbing.

Bringing people in for minor interrogations, and saving the seat cover in a sealed glass jar to be used later by bloodhounds...if necessary.

The concept of storing those seat covers is readily comparable to the Tera-petabytes of data being collected for years on us.

We aren’t doing anything wrong. But all those texts, phone transcripts, emails, you name it, are being cataloged and stored just like those seat covers in those hermetically sealed jars.

Even worse, due to the ease of cross-checking with computer technology, our equivalents of those hermitically sealed seat covers can be easily accessed and looked at, then cross-checked with the hermetically sealed seat covers of people we have associated with...and the hermetically sealed seat covers of people THEY have associated with.

Known as the “Two Hop Rule”. It used to be the “Three Hop Rule”, but they had to change that because statistically, the “Three-Hop Rule” could be used to look at the hermetically sealed seat covers of nearly every single person in the country...legally given the power of computers to analyze, categorize, and cross-check.

As the Spying Scandal unfolding against the Obama Administration indicates, the capability is already there, and has already been used in conjunction with Police State Tactics. What happened to Trump, Papadopoulos and Flynn was and is a scandal. I even include Manafort in there, because even if he has shown he is a shady character, he was treated in the way he was ONLY for political reasons.

We have, in this country, definitely come to the banks of a Rubicon. There is still time not to cross it.

About that movie “The Lives of Others”: One of the most terrifying parts for me was when the Stasi were breaking into a guy’s apartment to bug it, and a neighbor looked out her keyhole to see what was going on, and Ben Kingsley’s character noticed the change in light through the keyhole and, without hesitation, marched over (as the horrified woman looking through the keyhole straightened up and backed away from the door, her eyes wide in terror at realizing she had been noticed by the State) and delivered the characteristic “Heavy Knock of The State” with the back of his fist on the door.

“...So far, laws still apply....”

And when/if that happens, then it be time for us to apply Law .308 and Law 5.56. From everywhere.

Judiciously and with extreme predjudice.
