Rev. Thomas Brown, who is married to a fellow priest, was ordained as a bishop of the diocese of Maine in the Episcopal Church June 22. Immediately following his ordination, Brown referred to God as a "she" twice in the Nicene Creed.
"She is worshipped and glorified. She has spoken through the prophets," the just-ordained Bishop Brown said, referring to the Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and
the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of
life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son she is worshiped and
glorified. She has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of
sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Wait, this priest is a sodomite who wouldn’t touch a woman with a 10-foot pole worships a female, all-powerful, deity? Does not compute.
I predict that the Catholic Church will be forced into making major reforms that will be imposed on it by the laity within 20 years.
Virtually all references to God are that of “Father” or “him” - concepts He created.
Knew it was going to be Episcopal
Hell the Episcopal bishop of Maine left his wife for a man oh...30 or 35 years ago?
Why do i even read this crap? God forgive me.
As if G-d has reproductive organs....
[Newly Consecrated Gay Bishop]
Satan is the author of confusion. /Captain Obvious
Those four words go to the heart of the problem.
Having denigrated marriage and the proper use of their own bodies, why stop there. Not when you can denigrate the Supreme being and your Creator.
“married to a fellow priest”
I thought priests are not allowed to marry, especially not to someone of the same sex.
And this priest was just promoted to bishop?!!!!!!!!!!!!
Liars. They do not believe. They can REPENT!
Thank you. I did not know that.
No. It’s just people pretending to be Catholic.
13 The catholic church isn't too far behind when it comes to this nonsense.
The Episcopagan cult has moved even further to the right side of history and is currently embracing open borders. I imagine the UCC, ELCA, and PCUSA are doing the same. I expect to see the UMC and the SBC follow soon.
Honestly... it shocked me to discover this. I’m certainly NOT giving credibility to the freaks who made the declaration (gay “bishop”). The “Father”... Adonai... YHVH... is written of similarly in the texts as male. Anyway, we lose a lot in the translations because of this.
I don’t believe God has a gender.
But it’s interesting to know a case
can be made for female. Mariology
is just one attempt by humanity to
have a female, ie, forgiving, Mama God.
And it may have been staring us in the face.
At least I can take consolation that he and fellow sodomite will burn in hell.
I’ve heard leftist “priests” say that yes, Jesus was a male, but that detail was just INCIDENTAL to his birth. In other words, He could just as easily been a female, and it wouldn’t have mattered.
