Sunday on NBCs Meet the Press, President Donald Trump said given another chance he would not appoint former Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) as attorney general.
Host Chuck Todd asked, If you could have one do-over as president, what would it be?
Trump replied, It would be personnel.
He continued, I would say if I had one do-over, it would be, I would not have appointed Jeff Sessions to be attorney general. That would be my one.
Sessions recusal in the 2016 Russian interference probe led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller.

Sessions was a lose/lose. He sucked as AG, and we lost his senate seat.

I have serious doubts about FBI director Wray. He is covering up the crimes committed by the FBI.

Other than Trump, the pubbies that I have picked have mostly been weak kneed wimps.

Theres no getting around the fact that U.S. Senators are generally weak, ineffective people who shouldnt be expected to lead anything more substantive than the Pledge of Allegiance.

Maybe it’s easier to list the appointments that have actually worked out.
How many have actually supported the maga agenda? Deeds, not words.

I’d say Kavanaugh has been a cowardly bust so far.

Theres no getting around the fact that U.S. Senators are generally weak, ineffective people who shouldnt be expected to lead anything more substantive than the Pledge of Allegiance. Their sole interest seems to be in maintaining the status quo.

Sessions was a do nothing rollover.

"Amen
Good Senator
Clueless AG" Before Donald Trump announced that he would run for president, I had a tagline that said " Jeff Sessions For President". Imagine my diasappointment/embarrassment.

Agree. The vicious attack from the left didn’t keep him from being a SC justice, but it certainly has kept him in his place.

Yeah. Trump has many strengths but personnel is not one of them.

Yup. Watching and hearing Wray seems to be another slimy, sneaky insider.
