Tucker Carlson: What the fight for slavery reparations tells us about today's Democratic Party
Fox News ^ | June 20 2019 | Tucker Carlson

Let's say somebody committed some sort of horrible crime against you, a horrifying crime -- shot your dog, burned your house down, kidnapped one of your children. Let's say the person who did it escaped and then died before being punished. You'd be frustrated, of course.

But how would you feel if the police arrested someone else -- an innocent person -- for the crime, someone who just happened to look like the criminal, and then sent that person to prison? Would you be happy with that? Would you consider it justice?

If so, you probably agree with Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, that we need to reparations for slavery. Jackson Lee held hearings on the subject in Congress on Wednesday. She described a version of American history in which the Civil War and Reconstruction and the Civil Rights Movement and the war on poverty -- indeed, the last 150 years -- never happened.

Liberals especially but both sides in reality prey on the ignorance of the masses. It is absolutely critical to their success in obtaining their gals that the population be uninformed as the government schools can make them.

Sheila Jackson Lee is an embarrassment for Houston. I used to take comfort in the fact that she is at least the result of a district that is drawn to give us an extra Republican in the House. But that extra Republican, John Culberson, lost in the last election.

Instead of 40 acres and a mule lets upgrade it to 4 ho’s and an El Dorado.

It tells me, the Democrats are running scared with trumps inroads in to the black community.

They’re trying to bring them back to the plantation with promises of money.

What about the American Indians. They were displaced and also need to be compensated.

I have a better idea.

A one way ticket to Africa and a waiver.

And let's also say that since that horrible crime - you DID get compensated.

You got voting rights, civil rights, affirmative action, housing, welfare, and unlimited opportunities to be a Danny Glover or SheJackLee and make million of dollars. You got a new dog, a new house and your kid returned home safely with a million dollars of the kidnappers money.

And you STILL want revenge against innocent people?

You are a sick F--k.

It’ll be curious when they finally arrive at the moment, and the offer is just $4,000 per adult, and folks go ballistic because they felt it would be in the $300,000 range.

This is all reminiscent of the WW I ‘bonus’ after the war, and how it wouldn’t be paid until 1944. Passed in 1924, some Democrats stirred up the unemployed veterans in 1930/1931....suggesting that the bonus be paid off early to all these out-of-work folks, and triggered the DC riot in 1932...which saw the end of the Hoover government in the election.

What about reparations for the victims of affirmative action? At least they can be identified and are probably still alive.

Listen we need to just cut this crap out. We need a united America to face the enemies that are lining up against us. Under God. It’s going to happen one way or the other. It’s going to. Trust me on that. I wouldn’t be suprised if China is behind this movement, trying to divide or country. The msm will have no problem doing the bidding of foreign enemies like the chinese and radical islamists to divide America. We need to stop this chit right now. It’s time to unite the whole country, blacks, whites, hispanics... everybody I don’t give a damn what they look like. We have serious evil forming alliances against us, to take the last bastion of hope and freedom away, which is America. Don’t get me started man... hold my beer.

Well, I have to go out and I am going to drive-by drop off this link with info on this subject:

https://www.theroot.com/slavery-by-the-numbers-1790874492

“1. In the history of the trans-Atlantic slave trade (1525-1866), 12.5 million Africans were shipped to the New World. Of them, 10.7 million survived the dreaded Middle Passage, disembarking in North America, the Caribbean and South America. Only about 388,000 were transported directly from Africa to North America, as David Eltis, David Richardson and their colleagues have definitively established in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database.”

This is a good article to review and a good resource for info. When challenged by the “Woke” about your facist views you can say you learned it from “The Root!” (Use there own sides info against them.)

A better analogy would go something like this:

Your great great grandfather was robbed of all his belongings and his wealth and then killed by his neighbor. The neighbor eventually passes away and leaves all the ill-gotten gain to his progeny , who are able to live quite comfortably on the proceeds of the ill-gotten booty, well into the future.

In the meantime the orphans and descendants of the long robbed and dead man are plunged into abject poverty and social ostracism orchestrated and perpetuated by the descendants of the original criminal
