In a recent poll for Axios on HBO, 55% of American women say they would prefer to live in a socialist country over a capitalist country. This week on Problematic Women, we discuss why women are embracing socialism and what can be done to stop this trend.
Also, we break down why freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says members of Congress, despite already making $174,000 a year, deserve a pay raise.
We crown Yale University graduate and future Justice Brett Kavanaugh law clerk Sophia Chua-Rubenfeld Problematic Woman of the Week.
And we discuss these topics:
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surprisingly positive things to say about Kavanaughs first class of law clerks.
Pro-life group Live Action was permanently banned from Pinterest this week for spreading misinformation.
Mary Katharine Ham, CNN contributor and single mom of two, talks feminism, being a mother in the public eye, and much more.

Here’s another question for you:
Why do women use makeup and perfume?
Correct. Too many weak men.
Bingo. I might change 'better' to a safety net (in some cases), but the sentiment is exactly right IMO.
“:^)
re: “If they are naturally more protective...why would they desire more outward security from someone else?”
They seek passivity from the environment; govt (well, dem politicos) promise just that.
Because they consider Government as a better provider than a husband.
Theyve been indoctrinated to believe that, for many decades now. And women just love how it tastes.
But, the fruit of their belief is bitter, indeed: broken marriages, lower (single) income families, fatherless children, feminized children, high illegitimacy rates, boys on mental drugs, harsh judgement$ against fathers, high youth and male suicide rates, fewer marriages, demasculization and demonization of boys and men. Bad stuff for a society.
I believe the vile seed was sown in 1919.
Liberal women: so stupid they make the rest of us look bad.
More than just women who identify as liberal, imo.
They as a voting bloc will destroy the nation.
They ARE destroying the nation. Look around, listen, observe.
What did you think about the MSNBC and CNN bimbos going ga-ga over the creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti?
Nah, youre simply reading forbidden, uncomfortable truths that are rarely spoken publicly.
Just like saying blacks are racist.
Do you realize what your post actually demonstrates?
I expect that kind of “stuff” out of the Leftists.
I’m concerned with middle class women and their ability to slide Left on some matters such as voting for Obama or some such.
Clinton would not have been president except for women, if I recall the numbers correctly.
It is concerning.
Women’s equality notwithstanding, too many of them feel that they have to be taken care of.
Capitalism is producing all those sex robots the girls love.
Women, like the impoverished, have a compulsion and need to acquire resources while having less skill to do so then the more able-bodied and capable. This imo is one of the reasons women and non-property holders were not given the vote in the Constitution. They would use government to acquire what they can not earn.
The property holding requirement is just common sense. The Constitution is not written for the needy or foolish. If someone lacks the wisdom the acquire and hold property they lack the wisdom for deciding the country’s course.
There is NO requirement in the Constitution! Read it.
The STATES were to decide.
And guess what? Contrary to popular history, New Jersey allowed women voting in 1790 - long before WY. Problem was by 1820 or so it was abolished as some politician didn’t like losing because women didn’t like him. He managed to change it.
You’ve bought into the pop history of “property and white male”. That did not always hold and NEVER was in the Constitution!
BTW, thanks for all the veiled insults thrown in there against the people who BORE you. It’s a lot harder than sticking a stick in a hole.
One of the strangest posts......ever.
