Fox News host Maria Bartiromo interviewed Mark Meadows earlier today on her Sunday morning show. This is quite possibly the most revealing interview so far this year on the Obama Spygate and surveillance investigation. The interview is jam-packed with info.
Clapper and Brennan demanding protection for sources and methods, but at the same time theyre saying people werent spied on. Well, you wouldnt need to protect sources and methods if people in the Trump administration werent spied on.
The segment with Meadows begins at 18:37 [prompted, just hit play] and includes multiple new aspects including: Weissmann/Mueller report collapsing under scrutiny. New investigative documents likely mean criminal indictments. New evidence of a cover-up within the FBI. AG Bill Barr has firm disposition to provide accountability. Expect significant delay in OIG Horowitz report (ie. Steele interview etc.). FBI Papadopoulos covert recordings likely to be public. Overall declassification delayed; likely no release prior to OIG report.

It is quicker to conceive and birth a human than to see this much promised IG report!!!! What a system they have there in the District of Corruption.
“There does seem to be a larger than normal disconnect from reality in recent news reporting over the last spell - since Barr came on the scene.”
Yes and note the hysteria is mounting as the American public gets closer to hearing the truth.
“Not from this Alabamian...”
Wonderful! Hope you are starting a trend! I used to go to Huntsville on business. I think you need to find a permanent home, because from what I saw there, tornadoes prefer trailer parks.
Horrowitz’s white washed his Clinton Email report so I don’t have much faith in him.
Believe me, there are a lot of Trump supporters here who are FURIOUS at Sessions.
There’s no hatred like the hatred for a home-grown traitor.
The rest who don’t think he deliberately sand-bagged the President think Ole Jeff is simply terribly incompetent.
He might still have a couple of old senile supporters down in Mobile, but they’d have to be on life-support.
Nice spin, if Huber was doing exactly what he was suppost to do then why did Barr fire Huber and assign Durham? Huber was a Jeff Sessions head fake. Hopefully Durham is the real deal. At this point I would not be surprised to learn that the entire DOJ (sans Barr) has been turned.
I would posit none, for the simple reason that Trump isn't a true, actual leader; that is, he isn't a natural born killer. It's sort of a backhanded compliment, because it classifies Trump as a "normal" non-violent person. If we consider the significant primary characteristic that separate normals from leaders, it would be the will to power. That is, the reflective tendency to use violence as a means of achieving control objectives.
Ultimately, at a macro level, it's why the US was committed to its current path decades ago. Trump is an odd character, born of the media age, with wishful, fanciful ideas about 'what is good'. However, true leaders are never concerned about 'what is good', but rather 'what are the goals, and how do we use available power to achieve them?'.
That's why this is all kabuki - Trump simply doesn't have the organizational infrastructure to instill fear. And so it's done - we're just playing out a few years before the system snaps back into place to resume its current trajectory.
Although I absolutely understand the pessimism on the deep state escaping justice....
...there’s one massive glaring fact that says otherwise.
We give these Deep State players way too much credit. This ‘Deep State’ gang was apparently the keystone cops of deep state gangs. For godsakes they had the cia, fbi, intel community, and the previous presidential administration all working on this and they not only failed at their objective, they fell flat on their faces. These guys are absolute incompetent idiots, (thankfully).
Who the hell is going to go out on a limb to protect these bozos who couldn’t protect themselves or accomplish what should have been a slam dunk coupe?
As the pressure increases, these guys will start turning on one another, (if they haven’t already)...and it’s all going to come crashing down. The timing is delicious too...TRUMP 2020!!!!
“Theres no hatred like the hatred for a home-grown traitor.”
I guess we have to simply say that “that damage has been done” and move on, but my concern insofar as the Alabama Senate Seat is concerned, is that we will be treated to another “run” by Roy Moore! Will this “religious gadfly” get the nomination again? I don’t presume to question the sincerity of his convictions, but he’s a looser, and should not be given another chance, because this time, if Doug Jones wins, it will be for six years. And I am of the belief that the National GOP will do everything it can to tank his candidacy like they did last year. We also don’t need a POS like Luther Strange!
I would posit none, for the simple reason that Trump isn’t a true, actual leader; that is, he isn’t a natural born killer.
There is nothing for Trump to lead. There is no opposition party to the progressive-corportist alliance. The open borders agenda firmly controls both wings of Uniparty and POTUS is playing a very weak hand trying to get bits of his MAGA platform enacted. The uniparty simply has no interest in following Trump’s lead. The GOP has thrown in with the Democrats to obstruct him. It’s that simple.
As much as I would like to think that at some point justice will prevail, I doubt that it will. Much talking, much table pounding, and at the end of the day nothing will happen. Always remember, we are dealing with The Swamp, and the Swap Creatures protect their own.
Manafort is in prison Podesta is not.
And there is the key point. The GOP’s hatred of Trump has blinded the them to the massive and likely irreparable damage being done to this country by Mueller’s police state tactics. President Trump’s supporters get jail. Democrats get immunity. Does the doormat GOP think Trump voters do not notice? Or do they simply not care? It’s baffling to hear Senator Graham sing Mueller’s praises while an old man Trump supporter rots in Riker’s solitary and guilty Democrats are free as birds.
I expect a massive decline in voter participation post Trump when Trump voting Main Street USA voters disengage from the rigged political process. Unfortunately, that is exactly what the Uniparty wants.
Yes and note the hysteria is mounting as the American public gets closer to hearing the truth.
I was about town all weekend. Saw no hysteria. Democrats are being Democrats. Beltway GOP assuming their normal doormat position. Same old, same old.
Much talking, much table pounding, and at the end of the day nothing will happen

I really ‘hate’ to agree with you but every day looks more and more like Geraldos ‘Al Capone Vault’.
I have a sneaky feeling ‘they’ will use the excuse it will do nothing by imprisoning these people and for the good of the country etc case will be closed with letter in the ‘premanent file’ and ALL moneys lost by firings etc will be returned and pensions reinstated, ‘for the good of the country’.
Remember after the Clinton impeachment, those that had been involved during Nixon and his resigning claimed that ‘for the good of the country’ Nixon would never have been found ‘guilty’ by the Senate.
If that the case, would have been nice to inform RN so he wouldn’t have resigned ‘in disgrace’.
True ‘patriots’ like Nixon and Bob Dole (resigned his Senate seat so he could run for President) aren’t around anymore.
I personally think that once you are selected for the partys choice for HIGHER office, you should resign your present position so as to be able to devote your FULL time and attention to the next office and not ‘penalizing’ your constituents by being half a representative.
This circus going on now with all these sitting senators etal ‘running’ for Pres is ridiculous...
The voters should oust them at first opportunity. (half of them should get the boot either way)
As Mel Gibson said to his son Joaquin Phoenix in Signs, SWING AWAY!!!!!
-
That was his younger brother.
Au contraire - he has 50% of the country (militia) and maybe one-half military. So, why doesn't he act?
Consider Napoleon's 100 days. He simply boated away from Elba and began to walk towards Paris. Within 2 months, he was marching with an army, causing the French government to flee and allowing Napoleon to resume his (former) position as head of state. If Waterloo had turned out differently ...
Anyway, the point is that Trump, unlike Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Monroe, et al, is unwilling to launch a revolutionary war. Or, unlike Lincoln, the civil war, or unlike Wilson, WWI, or unlike Roosevelt, WWII. In other words, while Trump is an interesting, unique character, he doesn't really have "what it takes" to be a seminal, historical figure. And the reason for that is because he's actually risk averse and fundamentally non-violent.
Name a famous leader - male or female - at any point in time at any location on earth, and they all share one common characteristic: they are all willing to bet it all. Trump isn't, and that's all we need to know. As you said, the uniparty/deep state figured him out long ago. That's why they ignore him, taunt and belittle him, and basically just screw with him knowing that he will be gone in either 2 or 6 years.
I concur with your position. Term limits are drastically needed. The only way to accomplish this (and that is a long shot) is a Convention of the States. Otherwise “the band plays on!”
