Manafort should be pardoned by the President.
There are many who committed the same crimes or worse, lobbyist presently walking the streets of Washington and others. Joe Biden and Kerry are two that come to mind.

This story seems odd on its face. Rikers Island is a New York City Corrections facility, not a state or Federal prison. It's a detention center for temporary holding, not a place to serve a lengthy prison term.
Is he being arraigned for a crime in New York City?

I believe New York state needs a federal lawsuit from the DoJ concerning the inhumane quality of their prisons.
Use the DoJ like Dems do. Of they send a political ally to a rough prison, sue them for having rough prisons. The Feds can easily get NY to spend hundreds of millions if not billions over the “inhumane” conditions at Rikers.
