ShareTweetFlip David Horowitz, the 80-year-old conservative writer and founder of the Dave Horrowitz Freedom Center, was banned from Twitter this evening with no explanation from the big tech platform.
Twitter has been in the midst of a purge over the past 24 hours, banning multiple parody accounts and an account that chronicled instances of violence against supporters of President Donald J. Trump last night.
Tonight they continued their censorship spree by banning Horowitz, who is widely respected as an intellectual on both sides of the aisle.
Horowitz is a conservative writer and commentator who has written dozens of books, including “Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America”, “Progressive Racism”, and “The Big Agenda: President Trump’s Plan to Save America”.
Big League Politics reached out a Twitter for a comment and did not receive a response in time for publication.
Last night, Twitter banned a popular parody account mocking Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and seemed to cite its parody nature as the reason, even though the account followed its rules by identifying itself as a parody in both its name and bio.

Twitter locked me out the other day. I appealed the locking of my account and asked them why. They stated it was because of “suspicious activity.” I was reinstated and can now tweet. Twitter told me I was mistakenly caught up in a sweep.
Mark Dice just tweeted that Horowitz has been reinstated.
That was quick. Possibly due to the blowback. It was heavy.

Trump should Tweet Horowitz’s exact words. Let them ban the Big Guy.
Trump needs to do something about this. For one thing any platform that discriminates like this should be absolutely forbidden for government phones or computers. He could do that with an executive order. Every single Facebook page for the u.s. government could be closed with an executive order.
He could put on an executive order that no company that discriminates based upon political opinion can be awarded a government contract. There was no way Congress could get the votes to override him.

What’s the equivalent of Radio Free Europe? We’re gonna need ham radios, walkie talkies and smoke signals soon. Who would be shocked to see signs of elephants in a circle with the diagonal line painted on storefronts followed by the return of striped pajamas and tin bowls?? And I am only half joking

This kind of activity should be grounds for the government to break up all these “soclal media companies,” because they exist as a tool for the sole use of the Left in the world today. The First Amendment GUARANTEES FREE SPEECH, make these companies completely comply with it with no exceptions under penalty of massive potentially bankrupting fines against them.
DOJ needs to announce an investigation to determine if their are any civil rights violations—dig deep.
