Basically leading with short dispatches saying the North Koreans did this at around 0906 am local Saturday (8:06 pm eastern USA) in Korea/Japan, about 90 minutes ago, into the Sea of Japan, traveling 70 to 200 kilometers from a launch site near Wonsan on DPRK east coast.
(Report in Japanesebecause fast breaking)
Conservative Sankei Shimbun news, Tokyo
I told you to post anything you could dig up on my statements.
You not being able to express yourself, I wasn’t aware you were talking about me here. This and one other time when you chose the same words, I referenced you as talking about Trump. As I recall, the last time you didn’t seek to clarify. This time you have.
I objected to you trashing Trump. I don’t object to these negotiations not succeeding. It was a crap shoot from the start, but there is one thing you’re forgetting.
I took the time to explain for you in detail how even if the talks failed, it would be an achievement of sorts.
It would make it clear that we have tried everything we could to get a guy to come to his senses.
In light of this, how does this buttress your depiction of me being angry?
Yeah, we were all happy Trump was engaging. It’s sheer lunacy not to grasp that after watching Kim go unchecked for two decades.
Am I angry that you carp about Trump constantly? Yes. He deserves better.
LOL!
Smile...
That was a good one. Well, I hope it would not come to that. From what I know, US considers higher-caliber MLRS (incl. KN09/KN-SS-9) to be CRBMsclose range ballistic missiles, (but South Korea does not technically)..it is not confirmed what this was but it went for a provocative of enough distance into the Sea of Japan to rattle Tokyo here and show the Fat Boy is acting again in typical North Korean tantrum fashion. Might have been a KH037, who knows (yet). We are waiting for Pyongyang’s daily news broadcast to start. In my opinion, I think it is a violation for sure of the North/South Panmunjom Agreement of 2018, and slaps President Trump in the face. He has a method of ramping things up and with this barrage of multiple launches, however, you want to rationalize it, is an increase on their part of tensions hoping for a concession of some sort. They have learned this behavior through Democrat and Repub administration alike and in a sense you cannot blamed them for learned bad behavior. They are also pissed about the US GMD testing recently and they themselves said they conducted a big test as a result of being angry they did not get something in Hanoi and that Bolton was in the room too long exposing their sneaky tricks to POTUS. They wanted him out of that room!
I am not sure why we did not neutralize this turd when he was outside the country. Would have done the whole world a favor and saved millions of NORK slaves.
In the current diplomatic environment, that is impossible. With a return to tensions and a break off of synergy, largely due to the fact that expecting they would denuc was a frikkin pipe dream to begin with, then yes, anything is possible. But to do that you have to secure two things: 1) CAN IT BE DONE WITHOUT A SCREW UP, and 2) IF SUCCESSFUL, WILL THE FORCES AND PEOPLE WHO TAKE OVER BE EVEN ANY BETTER, OR MAYBE EVEN WORSE AND RAMPAGING OVER IT .
Can we think about this for a minute?
North Korea is in the Northern Hemisphere, just like the US. Their seasons are the same as ours.
Just what are they harvesting in April or early May?
If there was a bad harvest, it was last fall. Not exactly news in the spring.
Not since Reagan.
(Exerpt): The question is what North Koreas next actions may be. We might expect launches of short- and medium-range missiles, and suspicious activities at missile and nuclear sites that are designed to catch the eye of satellites, Lankov said. Until the years end, they will do a lot of open provocations, but will not violate the major moratoriums they have imposed, on ICBMs and nuclear weapons: They know if they break those moratoriums the Americans will go ballistic. The most dangerous move Kim could make, short of an ICBM or nuclear test, would be a satellite launch, Lankov suggested. While satellites are themselves not banned, the launch vehicles that place them in the atmosphere are dual use, is also used for ICBMs".
One thing is certain. This is not the last we will be hearing from these dishonest and dangerous sons of bitches in North Korea. And also, by the way, I stand by Cindy Warmbier, mother of Otto Warmbier, in her talks to Hudson Institute today, where she said it is no use negotiating with the buzzard in Pyongyang because Kim is simply a liar who will not change. I have known this from the beginning. It is almost futile, and we are wasting a lot of money and time here, and also kowtows all the way to Asia by our buys including POTUS. Why the hell don't they come to the USA or to a European country for talks. The symbolism just plain sucks.
This is an irresponsible headline/thread.
Poor FReepers who see such a bombastic headline will naturally think, erroneously, that NK just launched a missile at Japan!
In reality, Wonsan is 1,147 KM from Tokyo and that was just a 70 KM missile.
Good grief, guys. Tone down the Scare Tactics.
The post came nearly five hours ago if you noticed as the news was initially rolling in. Weve already added that they can change to short but methinks you, too, do not need to over modulate. By the way, Japanese territory and EEZ are much closer to Wonsan than Tokyo. Please to get a grip and check your geography .
Meanwhile, nobody has anything to eat. What an utterly, totally f*cked up place.
Similar to media propagandist, it's what never-Trump stooges do. It's constant BS.
Lookit you, the subtle little NeverTrumper...
Oh for gods sake enough of the elementary prepubescent rantings of never Trump! Its overused, jargon and no different than when we disagreed with Obama feverishly and being called racissssstt. This is what happens in a messiah complex. Wish to shut down debate? Call someone a racist. Wish to shut down debate on disagreements with policy? Call someone a never this or never that or better yet ideologues most oft utilized term never Trumper
Idealogues are as dangerous as Antifa commies. They make their movements more about a person (hero idol worship) than a set of actions based on beliefs firmly grounded under policy. Sickening
Watch it now dragnet2 chan. You are going to lose all access to NYC World Affairs Council and CFR privileged meetings and debriefing benefits with that kind of attitude you know ;-)
Read the history of the poster that put this BS up. He’s been a never Trump hack since day one. Pay attention.
And hes a member of the Bilderberger Group on top of it. And does human and puppy sacrificed to odd Mayan gods. :-)
I prefer to look at both sides and tend to lean on the side of caution when reading someones words. If their words are directed at someones policy (right or wrong) as long as its grounded under logic then Im totally ok with that. Even if I disagree with them on their interpretation. For instance, I feel Trump has done AWESOME with the economy and SCOTUS picks! However where I have found him to fail miserably is within cabinet selections and his complete failure in following up on the FISA release he ordered and unredacted texts between Page and Strozk. That failure in my belief is what lost us in the midterms. Had he released them when he COMMANDED them to do so would have lit a fire back into his base to get to the polls and keep the House. Ive pointed out two things Trump has done wonderfully. Ive also pointed to two things I feel he has failed miserably on. What Ive pointed out doesnt make me or anyone else a never anything. If anything I strengthens our party by keeping things in check rather than walking around with our heads in the sand pretending a man walks on water and closing our eyes and ignoring when things said while true are unpleasant
