Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa is afraid to show his support for President Trump as this month’s National Football League draft approaches.
Bosa, 21, told ESPN he purged his Twitter feed of certain tweets, citing concerns about being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, the team on which Colin Kaepernick played as a quarterback and began kneeling during the national anthem — protests that have become a nationwide flash point.
“I had to,” Bosa said. “There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco.” In 2016, Bosa called Kaepernick a “clown” and posted photos and tweets in support of Trump during his tenure playing for Ohio State.
“He seemed to delight in posting political takes, including his support for President Trump, on Twitter and needling dissenters,” ESPN reported.

This is no accident. The odds are high that he will be drafted by the 49ers. This is intended to help scrub the SanFrancisco 49ers, and the NFL, of the stain that is Colin Kaepernick. Will it work? Only time will tell...
I was a die hard 49ers fan until Kaperdick showed up. The ensuing debacle made me an ex NFL watcher.

He was fairly safe when everyone had him destined to play in Arizona. Then this whole Kyler Murray thing happened. Now look at the draft board:
San Francisco: No place for a conservative.
New York: Ditto.
Oakland: Ditto.
He’d have to fall as far as Tampa Bay to practice his conservatism without major blowback.
He doesn't really want to hide it...he's trying to scare off the 49ers because he doesn't want to live in Looneyville. Now that the Bay Area knows he's a conservative, the Group Think process kicks in and pressure builds on the 49ers to pass on him. Smart thinking by Bosa.
