Attorney General Bill Barr testified before the House Appropriations Committee on Tuesday morning.
During his testimony Barr told Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL) that the Inspector General Horowitz is investigating the FISA abuse during the Obama administration to spy on Trump. The Attorney General said the report will be completed in May or June.
AG Bill Barr: The Office of the Inspector General has a pending investigation of the FISA process in the Russia investigation and I expect that that will be complete sometime in May or June I am told. So hopefully we will have some answers from Inspector General Horowitz on the FISA warrants.
Very plausible theory and in keeping with Trump's character. However, your gut is not a good source.
I’m guessing the IG report will be a whitewash.

McCabe was given a criminal referral almost
a year ago. Still no indictment.
So what exactly is happening?
And you base that on what?? The very fact that it got there tells us more. Plus, add in the 8 referrals from Nunes which are coming.

Trump has been such a paradigm shift though, that I, for one, am willing to wait and see this time.
These guys toss their grenade and then run away as fast as they can so that they won’t be hit by the shrapnel.
I read the previous IG Report. I would not call it a whitewash. It provided the evidence to get McCabe fired, which he was, and to get his case given to a federal prosecutor and grand jury, which it also was.
Between there and indicting him the trail seems to have grown cold (we learned about the grand jury last September, but nothing has yet come out of it.)
There is also the Huber angle. I'm of the opinion that Huber is potted plant, only there to make the scenery look better. But some people are still holding out hope for him to drop a bucket full of indictments based on IG Horowitz's investigations (and other things that Huber alone might be looking into, like Uranium One.)
Of course many of the people waiting on Huber were big supporters of the "Trust Sessions" theory (and probably still are). so take it was a few grains of salt.
The more I see Barr in front of the bloviators, the better I feel about him...he used admirable restraint while still managing to let some contempt filter through...
Huber is a potted plant. Appointed by Sessions to avoid appointing a
Special Council. It was nothing more than a headfake.

Horowitz (JD from Harvard) was put into his job by Obama. Consider that all the abuses against Trump took place under his watch as the Inspector General of DOJ.
Of course this is going to be a whitewash. The Swamp protects its own. Anyone who thinks there will be serious charges and revellations of treason coming out of this so-called report is delusional. It will be watered down like all government reports are.
Bush league nations experience this all the time...

Barr has been AG less than a month. Why does anyone expect that with everything that has happened over the last two years that all of this can be solved in a week? This is a process where Barr will be going over everything with a fine tooth comb.
First off, get the redacted Mueller report out to the public. Then start working with the IG on the root cause of this debacle, get the IG report out and announce the criminal referrals. Then for the next 18 months, prosecute everyone who was involved.

Yes but...... he has been regularly informed of what Mueller et al were doing. He knew the conclusion some time ago
