Why is a beermaker publicly delving into politics, you might ask? It seems like a bone-head move, to paraphrase Joe Biden, but here we are. Boston Beer Company, brewers of Sam Adams beer, are dedicating a new brew to liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and are also supporting the ACLU at the same time.

The roll-out for the new brew will come during an annual non-profit event to support female brewers and beer-industry workers. Called a pink boots release, the beer has been named When There Are Nine, a reference to a Bader-Ginsburg quote. When asked when there will be enough women on the Supreme Court, the Notorious RBG replied, When there are nine.

Damn, that’s too bad, I like the winter ale. Well, looks like Yuengling and Guinness from now on, with a Red Hook ESB every once in awhile.
The Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg Beer - stale and flat (chested).
I’m also not a big fan of SA, but now even less so. I have boycotted Stone, who does make some great beers, since their anti-Trump release I’m Peach IPA.
Why the hell these companies want to insult half their customers is beyond me. Stop virtue signalling and make beer.
Meanwhile, I will celebrate RBG’s departure from the court with a Sierra Nevada “Ruthless” Rye IPA.
Boston Lager is a fine beer. Give credit where credit is due. Everything else Sam Adams puts out is mediocre at best. I gave up beer for Lent, otherwise I’d have a Troegs Nugget Nectar waiting for me when I get home. Close to perfection.
Liberals can’t help themselves. Bad-for-business decisions and all. They just can’t.
A moderately priced beer, but you won’t find it anywhere. And it must be kept on ice.
It tastes like embalming fluid...
I like it when brands in make it easy for me to decide, and tell me they don’t want my business.
R.I.Pilsner?
Not surprising, given their jump onto the pro-homosexual bandwagon at New York’s St. Patrick’s Day parade a few years ago.
No problem; there are plenty of local breweries that brew better.
Get Woke ~ Go Broke!
Has a nice formaldehyde finish ...
Horse Face Piss
I generally stick to Shiner.
If I drank, I would boycott too.
From 2001 when Jim Jeffords left the RINOs to turn Senate control over to the Dems: VT-based Magic Hat Brewing issued a “Jeezum Jim” beer.
Such a hateful woman.
Indeed he would.
Yes.yuengling!
