President Donald Trump is not happy that former House Speaker Paul Ryan blocked subpoenas of people and entities Trump thinks the House GOP should have been investigating during the first two years of his administration.
Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive lengthy Oval Office interview that Ryan blocked issuance of subpoenas to people he thinks should have been investigated on the political left, and now that the Republicans no longer have the majority in the House, people Trump says Ryan protected may have gotten away with whatever they did that warranted investigation.
Trump said that House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and his predecessor and fellow conservative Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wanted to be tougher with the left, but that Ryan would not let them.
Paul Ryan wouldnt give the right to have any subpoenas, Trump told Breitbart News. Okay? Now in all fairness, Meadows and Jordan and all these guys, they wanted to go tougher, but they werent allowed to by leadership.
Trumps comments came in a wider part of the conversation about how the left is more vicious than the rightand that the left in American politics plays cuter and tougher.

Living and working in NYC all his life you bet that Trump has lots stuff on them.
Does the name Fat Tony Salerno ring a bell? He was a very big, if not the biggest cement business owner in NYC. He was in organized crime. How come the top politicians, district attorneys and police let him grow to be a big player in the cement business. Even the state of New York did business with him. Things that make you go hmmm.
We Republicans have been so blind for so long.
In order for someone to go into politics they must have a group supporting him. If there are corrupt people in that group they will pick a corrupt person like themselves. Patriots have to make their own groups to pick the right kind of people. Maybe veterans groups and police groups along with pro-life and other groups that are about doing the right thing rather than enriching themselves.
I just thought Ryan was stupid before it became clear he was a traitor.
Only 4% of Washington D.C. voters voted for Trump.
It starts at the grass roots. We need to come together on the local level to promote our own people.
Every time you watch a hearing on television the Democrats are on the attack as if the Republican they are questioning is some kind of criminal. You have to pay attention to the type of questions and the tone of their voices.
I don’t know. I prefer to think of us as patient. And hopeful. We could have just shut the Republican party DOWN and let the country go ahead & forge forward to Socialism beginning in the sixties. We just kept HOPING & PRAYING & VOTING (R), trying to stave off the inevitable. Fast forward 60 years. Same sh!t, different day.
The question is, should we have just ripped the bandage off QUICKLY way back, or slowly and carefully tried to gently baby the scab? I h8 being THIS fed up and cynical.
We have been too trusting believing that we had a grassroots system when in reality our government became controlled from the top down. We need to form groups on the local levels and push forward decent people into the political process.
“Like John Huber and IG Horowitz, they serve to protect the Guilty.”
Amazing the number of IDIOTS who still think something is going to come out of the IG’s office. Staggering.
Trump has the DOJ He shouldn’t talk about the failures of congress
p
Bless his heart.
What a shame.
