Attorney Michael Avenatti announced Tuesday that he was no longer representing adult film star Stormy Daniels, cutting ties with a client who had propelled him into the national limelight.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Avenatti said he had informed Daniels "in writing" last month that his firm was terminating its representation of her "for various reasons that we cannot disclose publicly due to the attorney-client privilege."
"This was not a decision we made lightly and it came only after lengthy discussion, thought and deliberation, as well as consultation with other professionals," Avenatti added. "We wish Stormy all the best."
In a tweet of her own, Daniels announced that she had retained Oklahoma-based trial attorney Clark Brewster as her personal lawyer and said he would review "all legal matters involving me."

Is Michael Avenatti still running for President.
He was going to fix Trump’s wagon but good.
He may have a change of dreams....
So Avenatti is pulling out.......lolol
Heh heh. As Jenna Massoli aka Jenna Jameson said, Stormy Daniels will regret she ever went this way.
BTW, Jameson is sort of a Trump supporter. Go Figure.
Cohen, Stormy, Blasey-Ford... all picked Dem operative lawyers, and all got screwed.
Shame on you...for making me spew my coffee.
Wasn’t her attorney exposed as the biggest pr*ck in town?
Translating corrupt lawyerspeak into plain English, Avenatti is really saying: “I’m not getting anything any more so I’m not doing any more dropped “briefs” for her”.
I hope that Stormy turns on this bastard and reveals how he used her to advance his own political desires, as well as other “desires” (i.e., money, friendliness, show candy).
#8. One problem with filing an “ethics complaint” against Avenatti - you have to have “ethics” to be subject to any complaint. He doesn’t.
However she can properly sue him for “ineffective counsel” etc. Go after his bar license and for a monetary recovery of his fees.
Time for her to go “Stormy” on his ass and bring him to his knees, instead of vice-versa.
#12. In answer to your question re “Attorney client privilege? Is that still a thing”?
Well, maybe that’s what he called IT.

Yes, what a memory. 1931. You weren’t listening live, were you? Just askin’.
Harry von Zell slipped up and said that at a celebration of Hoover’s birthday. He said he was glad all the upper floor studio windows were not able to be opened or he would have jumped out.
And then there’s Stormy the “former” porn star...ummm, maybe not former any more?

Don’t know if that site is credible, but if it is, she might be looking at another way to pay those attorney fees...
I first heard it on a bloopers record in the early ‘70s.
I think she may sue him for malpractice actually over filing a frivolous lawsuit against Trump which left her on the hook for Trump’s legal fees.
Why don’t they just come out and admit it was a vasectomy?
