Who’s the real speaker of the House? According to Fox News host Sean Hannity, it’s certainly not Nancy Pelosi. While she technically holds the title of speaker, her recent behavior suggests she’s nothing but a pawn or puppet to the party’s more radical elements, he argued Wednesday.
As evidence, he pointed to her defense of anti-Semitic Muslim congresswoman Omar Ilhan. Earlier Wednesday she reportedly told Jake Sherman of Politico that the freshman congresswoman’s recent comments about Jews weren’t “intentionally anti-Semitic.”
“Instead of taking punitive action, Speaker Pelosi is making excuses for the congresswoman,” Hannity noted later that evening on his eponymously titled Fox News show. “She’s obviously afraid of taking this stand. Why? Because congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is publicly supporting Omar.”
One of the Muslim congresswoman’s staunchest defenders has been fellow freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who this week has been publicly pushing back against a resolution to condemn anti-Semitism that was introduced by Pelosi.

With the fallout over Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial comments paralyzing House Democrats, Speaker Nancy Pelosi found herself on the floor Wednesday afternoon asking some of her closest allies what exactly she should do.
For 20 minutes, Pelosi huddled with senior members of the Congressional Black Caucus — House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn of South Carolina and Reps. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, and Karen Bass and Barbara Lee of California — to try to determine what kind of resolution the CBC would back that rejected Omar’s remarks about Israel without unfairly singling her out.
The CBC is running the show.
She just wants the free government plane with the fully stocked bar.
We live in an era where Nancy Pelosi is now viewed as the traditionalist moderate of the democrat party. Think about that.
I see a moment of truth coming for Nancy.
I see her standing at the mike during a press conference, and someone like Talib Omar shows up and takes the mike over.
The ultimate sign of disrespect.
Black Lives Matter did this to Bernie a few years ago. He was expected to bow down gracefully and except this rudeness with a smile.
Soon Nancy is similarly going to be challenged and humiliated in front of voters. These new Socialist have no sense or need of decorum.
How do you not single someone out when condemning their own words in particular and why is it unfair to single them out since, again, this is their specific statements that we're talking about.

It seems that all of the intersectional identity groups comprising the Democrat Party finally have arrived together at the same corner and collided. If Nancy is asking the likes of Clyburn, Lee and the CBC for advice, she will be told to do nothing of substance. Just as the Democrats allowed the blackface controversy in Virginia to die, quietly, so too it will paper over the clear anti-semitism of the new Democratic Party. It seems the old rubric of “be careful what you wish for” has come true for the Democrats. Their base is mobilized and committed, but their aims are anti-democratic.
Love it. Wake up Nancy. It’s time you cleaned House.

So Pelosi has to censure someone for claiming their loyalty is too another country, while at the same time claiming illegals are wonderful for the nation. Yeah. Stuck in a loop.
