Im all for new voices in the U.S. Congress. But, lately, some of those new voices have been voicing some very old canards.
Im talking about Representative Ilhan Omar, one of the newly elected Democrats who populate the 116th Congress. Omar has attracted much news coverage, and the condemnation of most of her fellow-Democrats, for promoting some ugly tropes about Jews.

Dual loyalty is always a potential problem for anyone.
But, looking at today’s realities, Muslims like Omar are far more likely to have meaningful dual loyalties than Jews are. Most Jews are political liberals, lukewarm in their religious beliefs, and have little attachment to Israel.
But, you don’t have to look very far to find Muslims who outright hate Israel, want to bring down the United States, and have strong external sympathy with many Muslim causes that are antithetical to US interests.
Walk Away....
The ‘RAT Socialist Crooks vs. the ‘RAT Socialist Terrorists...pass the popcorn, please.
It may or may not be ‘anti-semetic’ but dual loyalty is a problem.
This is the Rats scheme to have it both ways. How do you keep the muzzie vote and the Jewish vote? Well let the freshman bigots say what they will and have some key leadership people come out and condemn anti antisemitism. Viola! you now have it both ways.
Rahm Emanuel will still vote for radical Ds so who cares what he thinks?
I'm a bit suspicious of anyone who actively holds "dual citizenship". That's BS, IMO. Pick a country and stick with it. Beyond that ... the 'conflicted loyalty' thing is itself BS.
Rahm is a guy who set it up. What’s reaped is what’s sown.
Ping, y’all.
It’s my Party and I’ll cry if I want to
Cry if I want to
Cry if I want to...
Rahm doesn’t want to end up on the third floor roof of some non-descript building, with jihadis like Omar ready to give him his wings...
Islam is a totalitarian political ideology as much as it is a religious one, a political ideology completely at odds with Western ideas of individual liberty in general and the U.S. Constitution in particular. Judaism not so.
If the Democratic socialists are worried about “dual loyalty”, what do they think of the “globalists” who are American citizens? The globalists have overtly forsaken any pretense of American nationalism and support a new world political order.
Yep.
Rahm has a single loyalty, and it isn’t to the United States or Israel.
It wouldn’t be “dual loyalty” if Israel were to be accepted into the United States of America as the fifty-first state. Then, all Israeli citizens would be recognized as AMERICAN citizens, no duality there. They certainly have much more of a claim than, say, Puerto Rico, which won’t even get on the same page with their legal system. Or widespread use of the English language.
America is ALREADY the “Great Satan”. What further harm could come of joining with the “Little Satan”?
Sure would p*ss off the Iranians, but then they are already p*ssed with us.
I doubt that Rahm had dual-loyalties, since that implies one of them is to the United States. He answered only to the Left, and therefore was NOT loyal to America.
Muzzies have no loyalty to the U.S.
