Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York believes that the stream of attacks that GOP lawmakers and the conservative media spew her way stem from her gender.
I am as powerful as a man, and it drives them crazy, the freshman congresswoman told David Remnick, the editor of The New Yorker, after she emerged as the Republican Partys bête noire over the course of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference that ended on Saturday.
Ocasio-Cortez was responding to comments made by a writer for the feminist news outlet Jezebel, who said women in politics are characterized as either hideous harpies, such as Hillary Clinton, or "pretty idiots." "To her critics, Ocasio-Cortez is firmly in the pretty idiot category, Jezebel writer Ashley Reese said.
In The New Yorker interview, Ocasio-Cortez said she agreed with the comments. "I feel like I predicted it from day one, she said. The idea that a woman can be as powerful as a man is something that our society cant deal with.
Ocasio-Cortez, who worked as a bartender and waitress at a taco restaurant before leading an upstart campaign to win the race for New Yorks 14th Congressional District against a 10-term incumbent, said that virtually every aspect of her background was offensive not only to the GOP establishment but also to President Donald Trump.
I can see Trump being enormously upset that a 29-year-old Latina, who is the daughter of a domestic worker, is helping to build the case to get his financial records. I think that adds insult to injury to him, she said.

the capability to create, a capability that forever out of mens grasp

That almost sounds like God intended respect and love between one man and one woman He created.
Now part of a spectrum of twenty or so designations and nothing special (female plus trans female , trans with trans, man with man....)
A simple bench press exercise against a male of her height and weight should suffice to test the hypothesis.
She’s not that pretty.
If she is as powerful as a man, why isn’t she playing in the NFL? They make better money than Congresscritters.
Thanks EdnaMode. People never mention her gender, they dislike her stupidity, her corruptions, and her demagoguery.
Alexandria is at her best when she expresses herself through Interpretive Dance.
Whats she saying now, Bob?
Shes either saying that shes powerful or she just sharted.
Lol
LOL!
She looks like Momo.
Let’s call her Momo.
I can stand six feet in front of her and pee all over her shoes.
Top that, you bit of chippy-scented fluff.
I don't know why people haven't jumped all over AOC for her patriarchal worldview.
AOC, let me introduce you to someone who'd squash you like a bug:
Ocrazyo Corkhead..
Can she spell her name in the snow? Can she spell her name?
She always responds with a counter point, that has NOTHING to do with the original criticism.
For example, the criticism is her apparent hypocrisy where she promotes a vision of no automobiles, yet she not only rides in an automobile, but one with poor mileage - the exact behavior she criticizes in others. Her response: “I’m as powerful as a man,” a point which has nothing to do with the criticism, but deflects the conversation.
So, following her behavior, a legitimate counter response to her would be: “I’m sorry, but the Earth IS NOT FLAT, and the Sun IS THE CENTER OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM - no matter what you say!”
You’re right. She isn’t an idiot. She’s too stupid to be an idiot.
and just as stupid as a sack of door knobs
Little Latin loopy loo!
(with apologies to Bill Medley!)
