Federal Judge Amy Berman Jackson on Thursday dramatically restricted Roger Stone's ability to speak publicly about his case after he published an Instagram post with what appeared to be the crosshairs of a gun drawn behind her head.
From this moment on, Stone may not speak publicly about the investigation or the case or any participants in the investigation or the case.
"Period," Jackson adds.
Jackson said Stone could issue no statements on the radio, no press releases, no blogs, no media interviews, no Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat posts and no statements can be made on his behalf by spokespersons, family members or even "many volunteers," Jackson said.
"This is not baseball," she added. "There will not be a third chance."

Stone isn't in trouble for talking too much.
He supposedly lied and tampered with witnesses.
Do you think everyone accused of a crime should be left free with no restrictions until they're convicted.
I think the media made up the story about the Judge disliking the crosshairs. The Judge was upset about him stating she was going to be impartial.
I dont know what agreements Stone made about speaking about the case with the Judge. I do know that it was stated he was going to have a gag order prior to the trial and the Judge, at first, did not issue one.
Now I dont know everything or most of what Stones case is about and I tell you why.
This Stone comes off as a complete goof. Who berates the Judge who is currently presiding over your case!
Have you guys ever seen him on talk shows? Total oddball (woof woof) and narcissist.
Trump has made mostly great decisions. Unfortunately, he let a couple of softballs get in and Stone is certainly one of them. The DemoDorks know this too and that’s why they go after weak links like Stone and Cohen.
If he paid bail he’s entitled to freedom until convicted, seems to me.
Another thing: the threat of solitary incarceration is not far from a threat if torture. They have no reason for doing it. He’s not an ax murderer.
I’m not sure about this, but it seems that he has been forced to purchase his right to due process by forfeiting his right of free expression.
Maybe he’s nuts, but whatever he’s done pales in comparison to what this obviously prejudiced and thin-skinned judge has done.
You do realize that he skipped bail to avoid being tried and possibly convicted, right?
“Do you think everyone accused of a crime should be left free with no restrictions until they’re convicted. “
No, but it obviously depends upon the type of crime. On the other hand, I think it should be the law of the land that any judge caught colluding with a prosecutor, or making decisions that are proven (beyond a reasonable doubt) to be politically motivated, should be automatically sentenced to 10 years in federal prison and loss of their law license for life. No exceptions.
Eleutheria5 I 100% agree with your post
For my fellow Freepers, here a couple of quotes President Trump (I love saying that) has made about Stone cold crazy;
Roger is a stone-cold loser, Trump said in a 2008 profile in The New Yorker that detailed their disagreements. He always tries taking credit for things he never did.
In 2012, I appreciate all of the nice things hes been saying, but he does not represent me, Trump retorted. And he is not an adviser to my potential campaign.
In 2015 after Trump fired Stone after only 3 months on the job, I terminated Roger Stone last night because he no longer serves a useful function for my campaign, he said. I really dont want publicity seekers who want to be on magazines or who are out for themselves.
I wonder if a deal was made that Trump had to hire him in order to get a favor or something like that in return. That’s politics, baby.
Obviously the President knew he was an idiot since at least 2005. Maybe he saw him as an useful idiot.
WE should not want anything to do with this guy anymore. He seems sleazy, is poisonous, and our President seems to think so too. That is called Integrity, Washington DC!
I could see him lying against Trump in order to stay in the limelight.
I don’t think Flynn has been so stupid as to publicize a picture of the judge with a cross hairs symbol along side. However, think how disappointed the media will be if they can’t quote Stone any more.
The judge has put a target on her back for any kook who wants to stir the pot. I hope she has protection. Leaks will happen all throughout this witch hunt and the judge has ruined her reputation.
Ummm - in baseball, the third chance/strike is exactly like this - but even blind umps get the calls better than her....she's ignorant of baseball and the Constitution...
Solitary confinement is cruel and unusual punishment for what he’s accused of - a Mueller made up crime in a sham investigation.

BS ruling since every day Stone’s case is written about or commented on.
???
I have heard of gag orders but why in this case, except they are embarrassed, or it was a picture of HER?
I do question his judgement posting anything about the judge, though.
There are MANY people Trump had/has around him that are bad decisions. Obama people, Bush people, his daughter, Amarosa, Scaramucci... He has not been surrounded by the best people.
And of course he would use him as a liaison between the Russians and Asange. It’s “possible,” so therefore it’s presumed true.
But Hillary destroying 35,000 e-mails after all her e-mails were subpoenaed? Nothing suspicious about that. No evidence of criminal intent. She’s just too stupid and/or ignorant to know and/or care about the rules, and also should have been POTUS./s
Very few people are that stupid. Roger is. If I were the judge, I’d deem that a death threat and recuse myself after jailing him.
The black letters spell out:
CORRUPTION
CENTRAL
with “CENTRAL” stretched out evenly underneath “CORRUPTION”:
Obvious bias by judge and immediate grounds for mistrial.
