Two days later, the U.S. couldn’t even enter a squad for the team event at the world championships because it didn’t have enough skiers available.
And as for the men’s slalom team, the one that produced the likes of Bode Miller and Ted Ligety? Well, that’s been practically eliminated.
“We are dwindling,” Vonn said. “I can’t remember a time being on the U.S. Ski Team that there weren’t two or three people that could have taken the four spots (in each race). We always had a full quota.”

Lashing out at him publicly, cheaply and virtue-signally just because you can is a sign of being steeped in negativity and of being not a very rational person.
Negative and irrational people generally soon have something bad happen to them.
So the curse I think appears true, is not an illusion ... but the lashing out and the negative life events surrounding the lashing are both just symptoms that one's heart and head are experiencing a period, perhaps terminal, of rot.

Well, to be fair, there were members of the Eagles who were allegedly planning on dissing Trump...Trump caught wind and revoked the invitation. However, Coach Pederson, MVP Nick Foles, and sidelined QB Carson Wentz (all strong Christians) weren’t part of that stupidity.

So: the underlying issue is funding. Athletes in U.S. amateur sports are lavishly funded through college and then fall off a financial cliff. How do other countries do it? Do the top countries in any given sport typically get large government subsidies?
The US may be the ONLY country that does not directly finance a national Olympic organization that supports athletes.
She's not political and I think people read way to much into a very brief statement, including the media who love to diss on Trump.
Now if we can get of the MFL and NBA thugs to quit their professional sports gigs because of President Trump, that would be some awesome winning. Maybe they could show more hockey games on TV.

I posted an addendum to that years ago..a Reddit user who works for the Eagles for also was pro-Trump posted the plan online. I guess he heard it from one of the the asshole players.Not sure if it got to one of Trump’s circle, but I guess they did read that post...
