Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham told me that as recently as a couple of weeks ago Trump mused to him about the possibility of using military force in Venezuela, where the U.S. government is currently pushing for regime change using diplomatic and economic pressures.
What happened: Graham, recalling his conversation with Trump, said: "He [Trump] said, 'What do you think about using military force?' and I said, 'Well, you need to go slow on that, that could be problematic.' And he said, 'Well, I'm surprised, you want to invade everybody.'"
Graham laughed. "And I said, 'I don't want to invade everybody, I only want to use the military when our national security interests are threatened.'"
"Trump's really hawkish" on Venezuela, the hawkish Graham added in a phone interview on Sunday afternoon, adding that Trump was even more hawkish than he was on Venezuela.

LOL. Shame you have to put up with me ain’t it? LOL.
That’s Mr. Aginomoto BTW. But then you have no idea why I am flying a Japanese flag om my HP do you? That’s fine by me too!
Bakayaro ne ?!
Nip.>>>>>>>>
A racist word huh?
Why is your Home Page blank? What are ya afraid of then? The Venezuelans? What derogatory name do you have for that racial group?
Suture yourself my FRiend.LOL.
I wouldn’t try to guess what our wimpy conservatives, holding onto government by the skin of their teeth, might attempt.
That's a nasty mouthful, care to be a little more explicit?
Just a disgruntled concern troll.
The back channel poop is that PDJT and Bolton have one option on the table to send 5000 US troops to set up next door to Venezuela along the Columbian/Venezuela border. i hope it does not come to that. It all depends on the conduct of the Venezuelan military at this point.
Some of the Venezuelan military leadership are thugs. They will have to resign to flee abroad with their ill gotten gains or likely be taken out.The Russians and the Iranians are in the mix.
I suspect that Christians In Action have several ops going on there in and around Caracas. Not a place I’d want to be right now.
That’s hilarious.
Graham’s quotes are pricelessly self-serving.
Elliot Abrams is now “point man” on Venezuela for Pompeo.
He knows hoe to do things. So to speak.
You are right.
BUT
Bolton has been given his marching orders. One option apparently is 5000 US troops dispatched to Columbia along the Venezuelan border.

Venezuela has caused her neighbors plenty of trouble. Not judst Columbia.
When I saw Abrams had charge I knew Maduro was done.
Maybe this was just a backup in case Bolton's "accidental" notepad message didn't make its way to Maduro.
Most likely. Grrrr!
On the subject of contract law, didnt they seize or nationalize some of our oil company assets? Is that why we no longer would make loans? >>>>>>
You are 100% correct. Chavez did that and then turned to the Russians.
Yeah but they have a food supply for a small city. Hungry people can be more prone to all than fighting at least until they are fed.
Cubans don’t fight and prefer to surrender to US Forces in Panama, Granada, and again in Panama.
Our best bet it just to support Gauido and let his faction push Maduro out. It looks like we are going to nationalize all of the US Citgo assets and funnel them directly to the Venezuelan national committee. Putin is not going to get his military base.
Yes, but it looks like Maduro has retained his generals and will not leave. This means that Elliot Abrams may have to use a military option.
Like Iraq...
Most important post of the day.
Thank you.
