Chuck Schumer is not having a good day.

Yeah - and I'll smile for hours at that thought.

Who ever Trump nominates better have thin skin, the battle over Ruth’s seat will be epic and might even be bloody.

They knew that Roberts would go squishy on any case important to the Left, and vote with the leftist justices, and yet still opposed Kavanaugh with everything they could do.

A replacement which would ACTUALLY shift the Court to conservative? They will go insane.

They are NOT going to persecute a woman.....particulary since the Senate has the majority.

In fact, the Dems might just play ka with Barrett.

They tried their best at Barrett's confirmation hearings. While it was ugly to watch them go after her for being a believing Catholic, it was no where near as ugly as the smear job they pulled on Kavenough(sp).

It appears the Dem's game plan is to make confirmation hearings so ugly no decent person would willingly put themselves thru that process.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the news outlets confused the date the docs discovered her tumors and the date they did the surgery.

Probably at least a week between the 2 dates given the vagaries of scheduling major surgery around the holiday season....even for someone as important to keep alive as a SCOTUS justice.

Probably had to cancel several planned vacations to get her surgery scheduled.....not to mention prepping and clearing an elderly person for such an invasive procedure.

Yes.

Rehnquist ruled and wrote majority opinions on cases he did not personally hear.

There is no rule preventing Kavanaugh from doing the same, even though he wasn’t on the Court. But it’s not likely to happen, as there is an option of simply rehearing the case with Kavanaugh present. The USSC generally doesn’t like to do things without precedent.

Ruth, Ruth. Its time to wake up honey. You have to go take your seat for the oral arguments. That’s right dear, put your robe on. Where’s your walker. You can take a nap after you get back.

They are NOT going to persecute a woman.....particulary since the Senate has the majority.

And yet they did not hesitate to put a black man, Clarence Thomas, through hell.

They had no problems with harassing Sarah Sanders, and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. Earlier, they had no problems going after Sarah Palin.

Do not underestimate what they are capable of doing. I expect Amy's family will be put through hell, with daily death threats against her kids.

First time?

IMO, RBG has never NOT “missed” the point of any legal argument ever set before her. A bag of hammers has more clear understanding of the Constitution.

I don’t think she knows that she’s there even when she is there.

She shouldn’t get to vote if she doesn’t hear the arguments. Imagine if one of the conservative justices did that!

Let the riots begin - I have lots of ammo, and could use more practice on moving targets.

Ruthie definitely has a problem. Two malignant lesions in a lung after prior colon and pancreatic cancers suggests metastatic disease. This lung cancer is certainly locally metastatic.

Her doctor’s should know more about her prognosis based upon histology/biomarker testing of these new lesions. Of course, this type of information will be kept from the public. However, they cannot hide her missing work.

Many unknowns, hoping for the best, but this is likely a poor outcome for Ruthie...

If the Dems turn the House into Romper Room filled with dung flinging psychotic chimps, fine.

Don’t you go degrading dung flinging psychotic chimps. I’d rather one of these than McCain.

She has access to every bit of the procedures. She is just not participating....which to me means....she is hooked up to a respirator to help her with her breathing.

I believe she is dying....Don't see much on the family.

After graduation, Barrett served as a law clerk to Judge Laurence Silberman of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. She then spent a year as a clerk to Associate Justice Antonin Scalia of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1998–99.

She was a member of the Federalist Society from 2005 to 2006 and 2014 to 2017.Barrett continues to teach as a sitting judge.

“At best, there are 52. Romney has made his anti-Trump intentions crystal clear.”

Not even 50. Romney, Murkowski and Collins. We can lose those 3 and Pence breaks tie. That why FLA was so important. Especially since the Rats were allowed to steal the AZ and Montana Senate races.
