Its a new year, and a new Twitter post from actor James Woods is getting attention for taking decisive aim at the establishment media.
His powerful New Years Eve tweet was also a twofer, hitting at media mogul and potential 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg.
And the picture said it all Bloomberg alighting from a private jet, an experience few Americans will ever have, but one thats routine for the billionaire class.
Woods point about Bloombergs hypocrisy is valid. Virtually every moment during the businessman and former New York City mayors appearance on Meet the Press on Sunday was spent talking about climate change and energy.

In the meantime, he travels by private jet. Bloomberg and his green energy buddies might make a lot of noise in the media about energy conservation and lowering human impact on the environment, but its tough to think of a mode of travel that uses more fuel and is less friendly to the environment.
A 2013 news analysis from The New York Times provides a clue as to how much of a carbon footprint air travel creates.
One round-trip flight from New York to Europe or to San Francisco creates a warming effect equivalent to 2 or 3 tons of carbon dioxide per person. The average American generates about 19 tons of carbon dioxide a year; the average European, 10.
So if you take five long flights a year, they may well account for three-quarters of the emissions you create.
A private jet may differ from a commercial jet, and in the years since the article was published, the numbers may have improved. But theres no denying Bloombergs life choices arent exactly as green as the choices climate change activists want to force on the rest of us.
This is far from the first time Woods has launched a knock-out blow against the establishment media. Hes hit at CNN for poor journalism:

Likewise, he attacks 2A and doesn’t want the little people to have guns, but he has plenty of bodyguards with guns.
Hypocrisy and projection are rampant among leftists
Can’t really begrudge the guy a private jet. How else do you expect him to get to his private island?
And one might suggest that this is perhaps the origin of the term CRASS.
Wonder how big his house is? And does he ride around in a fleet of Suburbans?
It’s a farce. Every climate change guru lives a life that proves that they do not believe what they preach.
I read that Leonardo DiCaprio has FOUR yachts.
Not a couple of them:
FOUR.
This guy basically commuted on his private jet between his weekends in Bermuda and weekdays in NYC throughout his time as mayor.
And HERE are the addresses of the corresponding photos, in case anyone wants to use them:

Maybe with a private yacht or a private helicopter? LOL
Let me know when a Pic of Bloomie walking out of a 7/11 holding a Big Gulp is found.
The Car pictured is a Hybrid built using a Chevy Volt Drivetrain.
They only made them for a couple of years and they went broke.
Too slow. He commutes every weekend.
I heard on Lars Larson’s show that the Goron spends $130K annually for electricity.
The most hilarious one EVER was when Barbara Streisand wanted all us peons to dry our clothes outside on the line.
When her publicist was asked if Babs did that, her publicist replied... She wasn’t talking about herself.
Thanks Red Badger.
Yeah, but he buys carbon offsets, so it’s OK!
What don’t you riff-raff understand about this?
Look at the size of that one engine! And the plane has more than one.
Talk about a fuel guzzler. Those engines are bigger than the ones on Rush Limbaugh's jets. Way bigger.
I have a hard time breathing just looking at those big and huge polluting motors.
Michael Moore’s dining room? If those walls could talk!
