James Woods Digs Up Devastating Bloomberg Photo, Buries ‘Fuel Conservation’ Outcry

It’s a new year, and a new Twitter post from actor James Woods is getting attention for taking decisive aim at the establishment media.

His powerful New Year’s Eve tweet was also a twofer, hitting at media mogul and potential 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg.

And the picture said it all — Bloomberg alighting from a private jet, an experience few Americans will ever have, but one that’s routine for the billionaire class.

Woods’ point about Bloomberg’s hypocrisy is valid. Virtually every moment during the businessman and former New York City mayor’s appearance on “Meet the Press” on Sunday was spent talking about climate change and energy.

In the meantime, he travels by private jet. Bloomberg and his green energy buddies might make a lot of noise in the media about energy conservation and lowering human impact on the environment, but it’s tough to think of a mode of travel that uses more fuel and is less friendly to the environment.

A 2013 “news analysis” from The New York Times provides a clue as to how much of a carbon footprint air travel creates.

“One round-trip flight from New York to Europe or to San Francisco creates a warming effect equivalent to 2 or 3 tons of carbon dioxide per person. The average American generates about 19 tons of carbon dioxide a year; the average European, 10.

“So if you take five long flights a year, they may well account for three-quarters of the emissions you create.”

A private jet may differ from a commercial jet, and in the years since the article was published, the numbers may have improved. But there’s no denying Bloomberg’s life choices aren’t exactly as green as the choices climate change activists want to force on the rest of us.

This is far from the first time Woods has launched a knock-out blow against the establishment media. He’s hit at CNN for poor journalism:

This is the true objective for these Communist elites: to climb to the top of the dog pile and control all the human wastage. Once on top, they can do anything they want. The emperor has no clothes.

Come on this is not devastating. We’ve known for decades that these rich libs don’t live like they want the rest of US to. They all get a pass because they are fighting for the cause:-)

I know a guy here in my hometown who for some years did construction work up at the “elite” Yellowstone Club development near the Big Sky ski resort.

One of his jobs was to complete the garage, decks, sidewalks and parking areas for Algore.

Each and every walkway and driveway was heated electrically, to the point that in the winter his crew wore lighter boots to work because their feet got so hot!

These guys are such frauds.

Just like these quaint things called “laws,” conservation is only something we “little people” need worry about.

BTW, what type of security did Bloomy have around him?

People like this clown say that climate change is caused by humans. So, if we get rid of people like Bloomberg, Gore, etc., we can get rid of the worst offenders and honestly say we’re working to improve the climate. Sounds like a plan!

History repeats. Crassus was Rome’s first billionaire. He thought very highly of himself and sought political power and office. He met a very bad end as did future Roman billionaires who sought to purchase high office. Wonder what will be the fate of the likes of Bloomberg, Soros, Gates and Steyer. Doubt most of them will die happy.

But don't cha' see?

The good work to save the planet by Bloomberg and other wealthy Globalist Elites makes their very existence so much more important
than the humdrum, dreary, useless lives of The Deplorables.

Every moment of their time is so valuable that they NEED private jets, multiple gated mansions and estates, and armed security
to maximize the good they do.

Their effort and hard work is altruistic of course.

So who among us can begrudge them any power, influence or wealth that may come their way as they work tirelessly on our behalf?

Yes, they consume more resources and produce more pollution than 50 or 100 Deplorables but isn't that a small price to pay
to have them save the universe from those of us less capable and caring?

Just ask them.....

Bloomberg also tells us that we have to get rid of our guns while he walks around surrounded by armed security.

I saw Bernie Sanders interviewed once during the Obamacare passage. He was asked if he would be signing up for Obamacare (instead of his gold plated Senate health care coverage) and he wouldn’t commit to it.

You want to guarantee that none of these draconian laws get passed? Put a rider on all the bills that the Congress will have to live under them and not above them...

One of my buddies bought an existing house here in NH that had a heated driveway like that. He turned it on when they got snow for the first time that winter. When he got his electric bill he never turned it on again. It was more than triple from the previous month.
