If jolly old Saint Nick were a real person who had a real naughty and nice list, Nebraska school principal Jennifer Sinclair would most definitely be getting nothing but coal in her stocking this year.
Sinclair has went on an anti-Christmas rampage, banning candy canes because their J shape represents Jesus, the reason for the season. However, that was just the beginning.
What kinds of items, you ask? Liberty Counsel provided a memo from principal Jennifer Sinclair that spelled out in detail all the verboten paraphernalia at Manchester Elementary School in Omaha:
Santas or Christmas items (clip art) on worksheets Christmas trees in classrooms
Elf on the Shelf thats Christmas-related
Singing Christmas carols
Playing Christmas music
Sending a Scholastic book that is a Christmas book thats Christmas-related
Making a Christmas ornament as a gift This assumes that the family has a Christmas tree which assumes they celebrate Christmas. I challenge the thought of, Well they can just hang it somewhere else.
Candy Cane thats Christmas-related. Historically, the shape is a J for Jesus. The red is for the blood of Christ, and the white is a symbol of his resurrection. This would also include different colored candy canes.
Red/Green items traditional Christmas colors Reindeer
Christmas videos/movies and/or characters from Christmas movies
Sinclair whos in her first year as Manchesters principal noted in the memo that she come[s] from a place that Christmas and the like are not allowed in schools and that as a public school Manchester Elementary will be seek to be inclusive and culturally sensitive to all of our students.
I have unknowingly awoken a sleeping giant with many of you, she added. I apologize for the stress that Christmas/holiday/ Grinch/Santa/tree emails and conversations have caused you.
So what exactly is Sinclair allowing at the school? Prepare yourself. This is going to make your blood boil a bit:
Gifts to students
Students making a gift for a loved one
Snowmen, snow women, snow people, snowflakes Gingerbread people
Holidays Around the World purposeful presentation of information to teach about different cultures
Sledding
Hot chocolate
Polar Bears
Penguins
Scarves, boots, earmuffs, and hats
Yetis
Olaf Frozen
No Santa. No Jesus. But yetis? Absolutely!
This woman might just be certifiably insane. Just throwing that out there before we continue down this long, painful journey into the rabbit hole of progressive thinking.
Liberty Counsel sent a demand letter to the superintendent of Elkhorn Public Schools about the Christmas ban, urging it to immediately overrule and specifically disavow the sweeping directive banning Christmas holiday items, and require Principal Sinclair to undertake review of District policy and the law.
Shockingly, the district responded to Liberty Counsel, saying they investigated the matter themselves and found Sinclairs policies to be in violation of Board Policy, information Manchester staffers that certain Christmas symbols were indeed permissible.
Sinclair is fairly young to be a principal and this indicates quite clearly that she is a product of an education system that has brainwashed her into being a good little statist robot.
They have convinced her that separation of church and state means no religious influence on government policy or on government property. Thats not true. It means no official church denomination for the United States. Nothing more.
This is why much of the battle were fighting for the culture needs to be done on college campuses, public schools, and in the entertainment industry. This is where the propaganda is being spread and how the ideas are getting planted in young folks head.
Heres to hoping more victories for religious liberty down the pike.

She’s been put on administrative leave.
That didn’t take long.
“inclusive and culturally sensitive to all of our students”
Obviously not! The liberal mind is so clouded that it cannot see that this statement is what they are NOT doing. They are excluding students from a Christian background and being culturally insensitive to them too.
I’m willing to bet that no more than 5% of the kids have any idea of what they mean by “Jesus,” or “Christ.” Christmas, for most, is a fun time with no connection to any religious belief whatsoever. Most are Christians in name only.
The left largely wastes its time trying to de-Christianize the country. It’s already happened. No need to bow down and kiss the a$$ of the newly-arrived muzzies.
She’s doxxed herself. It would be rude not to get in touch.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.
How about banning this moronic principal?
bttt
Dress all the kids up as elves and send them into the room.
Or buy them all T shirts TRUMP 2020.
Liberty Counsel intervened, sending a letter to Elkhorn Public Schools warning them that the Christmas ban was unconstitutional.
The ban violates the U.S. Constitution by showing hostility toward Christianity, LC attorney Robert Mast wrote. The principal appears to have conflated her own values and preferences with the law.
The district investigated the matter and determined that Principal Sinclairs memorandum did not comply with Board Policy.
We are pleased that Elkhorn Public Schools promptly reversed Principal Jennifer Sinclairs unconstitutional directive, and required compliance with the Constitution, said Mat Staver, Founder, and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.
The First Amendment does not require the elimination of Christmas, Staver continued. Nothing prohibits public schools from teaching objectively about Christmas or other holidays with religious significance, from displaying religious and secular Christmas symbols side-by-side or singing sacred and secular Christmas songs together.
He went on to say that Sinclairs directive was not based on ignorance of the law but hatred toward Christianity and Christmas. Principal Sinclair should issue an apology to her teachers and staff.
Idiocracy was a documentary.
Fascinating. What is the purpose of those? Are they venting methane from a septic system?
Red/Green items
What, no duct tape!?!
Well of course snowflakes are allowed. Otherwise this principal who gets triggered over candy canes would have to take December off.
The shape is not a letter J. It’s a Shepherd’s crook.
The extraordinary aspect of the story is that such an irrational ‘thinker’ is allowed to be an educator.
Sinclair is the modern mom too. Her hubby is a “stay at home dad.” Interestingly, the principal she replaced at this school was named “Christ.”
Apparently just 13 years as a teacher I wonder why they even considered her?...........barely enough experience under her belt.
