Our 41st president was the most honorable, decent and capable of gentlemenas close to the ideal of the office as anyone in our lifetimes. If youre looking for a role model, I told my children when they were growing up, start with George Bush.

Well, if you liked higher taxes, pledging allegiance to the u.n., new world order, Rio Summit and Agenda21. Then yeah. Maybe. Thanks for your service in WWII ghwb. And dan, back to the spelling bee.

And he was near perfect if you don’t count the lie about taxes and how the Democrats rolled him right out of office with it.

Having no cable TV is such a blessing. I was able to completely miss the McCain funeral as well. I was spared every second of it.

I’ll say that he probably had the most impressive resume of any candidate to become President if you look at it like a hiring manager. Business experience, elected office, administration of a large govt agency, entrepreneurship, foreign policy, all boxes checked.
Reagan never said a bad word about him after becoming his VP. So there’s that.

I told my children when they were growing up, start with George Bush. And as long as someone else's children serve and get blown to pieces in an unending war, then everything is fine.

Is the link mislabeled? It says hotair, but reads like The Onion.

I seem to have a different memory of this than the writer of this.
I also seem to think that our current President, President Donald J Trump is all of those things that the writer said Bush was.
Am I crazy here ?

You know how far we’ve fallen as a country when we do week long soviet-style tributes to the traitorous asshats that helped destroy her.

Funny how the liberals suddenly love this guy after all the hatred they spewed against him when he was in office.
It is going to be really funny to see all the love W is going to get from the Left when he passes.

His politics were awful but he apparently conducted himself as a gentleman. He’ll be remembered as the last U.S. president who gave a sh!t about optics and public decorum.
