Central American asylum seekers who have reached the U.S. border are coming to grips with the reality that they will be on the Mexican side of the frontier for an extended stay.

The cartels like to keep their beheading skills sharp, so to speak.
They can now have lots of practice.
Now it’s time to see if they can make it back home for Christmas.
I lived in Imperial Beach, CA from 1980-’82 which is a stone’s throw from TJ.
It’s a pretty impenetrable border crossing there; I crossed it a number of times in those years, mainly to buy cheap Kahlua for relatives, LOL!
Once in a while someone would try to swim for it. Between the rip tide and sharks, they rarely made it.
I sure wish our lame-@ss Congress cared about We The People. Life would be grand if that were so. :(
However, God Bless President Trump! :)
AP's assigned four partisan shills to this POS -- asylum my ass.
AP = DU
I’m sort of curious as to why they went to Tijuana. It’s actually the farthest part of the border from Central America, and as I understand it, Arizona and even Texas are far more porous. Tijuana’s a rough city, even from the perspective of someone coming from the south. Is it just because whoever organized it knows that just north of Tijuana (coastal California) lies the greatest concentration of the types of people who might support this thing?
They cross at TJ into San Diego then LA. Disappear into the Hispanic state of SoCalMex. Also CAL is free with the money and support, Texas and AZ not so much.
Could be. I was surprised too, having lived there and crossed at that Border Crossing a number of times.
Outside of San Diego proper, and then Coronado Island where the REAL wealth lies, that part of CA is NOT wealthy by any means. Imperial Beach was, and still IS very lower-middle class; not wealthy by ANY means.
See the donkey show, tourists.
“Im sort of curious as to why they went to Tijuana.”
The 9th Circuit does not have jurisdiction in Texas. I don’t know about Arizona.
Dear Asylum Seekers: Would you have liked it if 10 strangers had kicked down the door to your house a year ago and took up residence without permission, peeing and pooping on the floor for a year while demanding that you pay to educate and provide medical coverage for their “children,” while also slipping the interlopers a little allowance on the side so they could buy booze, cigarettes and BigMacs for the whole month? For the ten of them? That’s what you’re trying to do to us. Now please turn around and go back home. Thank you.
Average house price in SD is now at $570,000. Is that low income?
Yep, more welfare benefits.
I’m very curious about that too. They do what their organizers tell them.
“”Hispanic state of SoCalMex””
Victor Davis Hanson wrote a book entitled Mexifornia.. Read it years ago and I thought I still had it but can’t find it. He’s one very, very smart man. Missed most of his appearance on Levin’s TV show last week and sorry I did.
He wrote it in 2003 - makes his home in the Central Valley of CA. Excerpt:
“”Massive illegal immigration from Mexico into California, Victor Davis Hanson writes, coupled with a loss of confidence in the old melting pot model of transforming newcomers into Americans, is changing the very nature of state. Yet we Californians have been inadequate in meeting this challenge, both failing to control our borders with Mexico and to integrate the new alien population into our mainstream. Part history, part political analysis, and part memoir, Mexifornia is an intensely personal work by one of our most important writers.””
I asked the same question here a few weeks back and was told that they knew they could get through to CA - while TX would have been a lot closer to the route they were taking, they knew they wouldn’t get across easily. Well, looks like that proved to be untrue. It only took a look at the map they were showing that they could easily have gone north and been at the border with TX a lot sooner. I think the trucks and buses and the help they had along the way had it planned out for CA!
Tijuana....come for the invasion, stay for the donkey shows.
Load them into train loads of boxcars & take them south. they will be Home before Dec 12.
California is a Sanctuary State.
