I lived in Imperial Beach, CA from 1980-’82 which is a stone’s throw from TJ.

It’s a pretty impenetrable border crossing there; I crossed it a number of times in those years, mainly to buy cheap Kahlua for relatives, LOL!

Once in a while someone would try to swim for it. Between the rip tide and sharks, they rarely made it.

I sure wish our lame-@ss Congress cared about We The People. Life would be grand if that were so. :(

However, God Bless President Trump! :)

I’m sort of curious as to why they went to Tijuana. It’s actually the farthest part of the border from Central America, and as I understand it, Arizona and even Texas are far more porous. Tijuana’s a rough city, even from the perspective of someone coming from the south. Is it just because whoever organized it knows that just north of Tijuana (coastal California) lies the greatest concentration of the types of people who might support this thing?
