WASHINGTON — Chief Justice John Roberts is pushing back against President Donald Trump's description of a judge who ruled against Trump's new migrant asylum policy as an "Obama judge."
It's the first time that the leader of the federal judiciary has offered even a hint of criticism of Trump, who has previously blasted federal judges who ruled against him.
Roberts said Wednesday the U.S. doesn't have "Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges." He commented in a statement released by the Supreme Court after a query by The Associated Press.

No. There is literally no downside for Roberts to inflict his ideology on the American public and he even gets a pat on the head from the questionable current pope for doing so. He gets to be called a man of “integrity” and every other nice name the globalists want to call him as he swanks around town until the house of cards falls flat. Of course he is going to take a swipe at a POTUS that is the favorite punching bag of the elites whose rectum he is thorough wedged up into.

That threat will have real teeth if the R's lose the Senate and the D's continue to hold the House. Tough way to live, although he can justify it by claiming to now be protecting his family.

OMG, if Roberts is either this stupid, or this disingenuous, he needs to retire before he does any more damage to this great country. He already re-wrote the ACA and saddled us with the odious Obamacare individual mandate. The states formed the federal government as a measure to preserve individual liberty, not to have the federal government being able to compel people to purchase a product.
Of course, there are “Obama” judges, since Obama appointed the farthest left wing ideology judges that he could find.
Has Roberts looked at the stats of how much percentage his court overturns the Ninth Circuit? Its like 80%.
Roberts, a Bush judge, is proving the accuracy of his assessment of judges in that he has completed his “evolution” to an obama judge.
What else could he say: No comment!

It absolutely does, and Roberts is completely wrong about this. Makes you wonder about his Judicial judgement as well.

As Roberts decision on obamacare proved, Roberts is owned by the Democrat Party. What they have on him, remains their and Robert’s secret, but he is their property.

Roberts almost certainly wasn't referring to the politics involved in the selection and approval of who sits on the bench, but rather the professional standard that a sitting judge should not bear any bias in favor of those who appointed him/her.
However, his subtle slam on Trump suggests he harbors some animosity resulting from Trump's earlier criticism. That is unfortunate for us and for Trump.
