Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, breaks ribs in fall
CNBC ^ | 8 Nov 18 | Tucker Higgins

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the court and fractured three ribs, according to a release from the court Thursday.

"She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning," the statement said. "Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment."

Ginsburg's health has been a matter of intense speculation in recent years. Ginsburg, the court's oldest member, is one of the court's four liberal justices. She has survived multiple bouts with cancer, and in 2014 underwent a procedure to have a stent placed in her right coronary artery.

The court said that more information would be provided as it became available.

It is not the first time that Ginsburg has fractured her ribs while on the court. In June 2012, Ginsburg fractured two ribs in a fall and did not disclose the incident to the public until months later.

Some months ago, right after Gorsuch was confirmed, the dems were trying to cheer themselves up and pretend that RGB was in great health. The article showed her in gym clothes working out with a huge smile, hahahahaha. Now they’ll tell us that RGB broke her ribs when the 200 lbs barbell slipped during her upper body workout. lol

“From my understanding the prognosis for pancreatic cancer in not good.”

I guess it depends on the treatment, who is doing the treatment and the patient.

We have two friends going into their second decade with PC and have been basically without treatment and cancer free for about 9 years.

Another friend has had a more serious experience with 3 years of treatment and finally into a holding pattern with no treatment since last December.

I’m not sure what your post means. Do you think she did this snowboarding or she broken them herself with a hammer?
How does having “guts” factor into an elderly woman falling and breaking bones??

The hospital is a really great place to catch pneumonia, too. Lots of sick people there, you know. They even a term for it, HAP, or hospital acquired pneumonia. It's the leading cause of death among ICU patients.

Every breathe she takes will be painful. Every movement in her bed, on her back will be painful.

Hard way to live until January 21, 2024.

“...going a little easy on RBG...”

I’ll go easy on RBG when she starts ruling against unlimited abortion. She showed no mercy in voting to expand abortion: the blood of the dead children who were painfully dismembered on her watch because of her rulings cries out.

Dear RGB, thank you for waiting until after the election. That avoided having even more leftists vote to protect “your” seat on the Court, which was very good for America. I hope she will recover, but I also hope she will retire soon.

From what I read she had it a long time ago and was supposedly cured of it. Normally pancreatic cancer takes quickly.

My father had pancreatic cancer. Six months from diagnosis to
gone. He was 49 and in great shape.
