All indications are the Kav stuff woke up the GOP base and is the reason we gained in the Senate.

Why can’t we have a nice, sane nation who elect sane officials with common sense? We can do quite nicely without the lunatic circus of many freaks we all contend with on the national scene.

“Kansas was the biggest letdown tonight. Everything else was pretty predictable.
We have Prez, Senate bigger and SCOTUS.
House under Ryan didn’t do much anyway.
Country remains divided. Trump has staved off our destruction by at least 2-6 more years..”

Hmm. If you say so. The House will have an impeachment vote lined up within a month. Of course the Senate will not convict, but it will drag out, and that will be the whole point: run out the clock on Trump. House is also where the budget comes from, so forget about the wall.

Oh pub-leeeeeze. Juan just claimed the Congressional Republican winners are wholly owned by or operating for Trump. Then Hume started arguing with him, to wit that the GOP has always been a GOP President’s party to some extent.

But the Senate is now way more conservative and pro Trump. More republicans without McCain Corker and Flake. Appointing judges rolls on.

What is really hard to explain is how Republicans are doing so well in the state wide Senate races and then getting their butts kick in normally Republican House districts.

The only explanation I can come up with is that Republicans are really, really pissed off at many House Republicans for their support of despised Obama policies and their treachery of back stabbing President Trump and their base of Republican voters over the last 2 years.

99.51% in and Scott margin of 55,000 has held steady for over an hour. I don’t understand the reluctance to call it for Scott?

I can only imagine the panic in the last three counties in FL that have not finished. According to my match, I can’t see Nelson stealing this. Scott is leading by 77,000 with only 2 % left in Broward with 626,093 votes counted. 2 % of that is 12,521. Number even lower in Palm Beach with 98 % counted and Hillsborough with only 1 % left uncounted.

I’m sure they are trying to find votes somwhere, but surely they can’t manufacture that many votes

the republican house lead by Ryan wasn’t exactly supportive. always running his mouth etc.

Listen homies, this is what is expected. the party in power in the WH always loses at least two dozen seats in the house the first midterm. As someone pointed out Reagan had a dem house and senate for all of his 8 years.

We just got get it back in 2020, and added to the senate is EVERYTHING,because of SCOTUS and other judicial appointments.
