the republican house lead by Ryan wasn’t exactly supportive. always running his mouth etc.

Listen homies, this is what is expected. the party in power in the WH always loses at least two dozen seats in the house the first midterm. As someone pointed out Reagan had a dem house and senate for all of his 8 years.

We just got get it back in 2020, and added to the senate is EVERYTHING,because of SCOTUS and other judicial appointments.

Wrong. RWR had Senate 1st 6 years, lost it due to 1986 election.

And I think many of those 45? Republicans who retired did so to throw it to the Dems, Paul Ryan included. We would have been good if they’d run again and held their seats.

I remember him saying how some explained Pacman to him as “a round guy who eats up a lot of your money” (something like that) and Reagan said “I thought they were talking about Tip O’Neill!”.
