URGENT: LifeSite is under attack

October 27, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – This is extremely urgent. I need to inform you that LifeSite just received an email at 8:30 p.m. EST from our web-hosting company alerting us that they will be taking our website down within 12 hours, if not sooner!

They wrote: “we are implementing our ‘SUSPENSION OF SERVICES’ clause...and giving you 12 hours notice to move your web site operations off of our servers..."

We received absolutely no forewarning whatsoever about this decision.

The company is acting after a months-long campaign of preposterous complaints against us by Adam Flanders. Flanders is a convicted sex abuser and homosexual activist who is angered over our reports exposing him and his past. As LifeSite recently reported, he has already succeeded in taking down other pro-family websites by targeting their server companies.

Flanders’ latest complaint is focused on the absurd allegation that LifeSite “has been implicated in a violent hate crime against a gay man and Catholic church,” and that we “instigated property damage and a physical assault.”

Our web developer is scrambling right now to set up a possibly-needed temporary solution to keep the website live. However, we’re going to have to go through the ordeal and expense of moving server companies. We also intend to fight these attacks, which will carry significant legal costs.

The left are are trying to make it socially unacceptable to have a conservative thought or to crack a joke or to exercise free speech. They also want it criminalized. This is very dangerous. Their assaults on our rights will not lead to a good outcome any way you slice it.

If the Dems take over completely an Amendment will be irrelevant as will be the entire Constitution. It will still be used to justify acts and measures that are patently unConstitutional and will not be officially disposed of but it will be only an imaginary picture frame.

However, probably somewhere in tiny fine print is the clause that allows them to cancel their contract at a moment’s notice for no good reason whatsoever.

Just like so many *contracts* where if you don’t hit *I agree* to the terms of service, you cannot use the service.

They force you to accept their conditions, even if they are morally or ethically wrong, if you want to use something and often there’s no alternative.

Why is the hosting company not being named? The most effective tactic is for other customers to boycott. This is bad business practice no matter your politics and should scare other customers away.
