Twitter has suspended hundreds of accounts after users on pro-Trump Reddit forum r/The_Donald coordinated efforts to set up 'non-player character' profiles mocking liberals on the social networking site.
The trolling campaign was born out of the characterisation of liberals as automatons incapable of independent thought on areas of Reddit and 4chan.
In 24 hours there were more than 30,000 uses of the term NPC on Twitter, and Facebook pages dedicated to the trend have amassed tens of thousands of followers.
So what is an NPC?
It's a video game reference.
Non-player characters (NPCs) are controlled by the game's artificial intelligence rather than the player. As a result, they're limited to certain scripted responses and actions.
In a 2016 post on 4chan, one anonymous user referred to people "who autonomously follow groupthinks and social trends in order to appear convincingly human" as NPCs.

They were mocking Leftists (they ARE NOT Liberal in the classical meaning of the term) by saying EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS Leftists say. The point is that NPCs are characters in video games that are pre-programmed and act in programmatic ways, just like many on the modern Left do.
“You’re a racist”
“Trump is a dictator”
“You hate people of color”
Etc.
That this meme was getting under their skin so badly shows how accurate it was about the Left’s behavior.

One of the funnier things to me is that it just so happens that the PBS logo strongly resembles the gray NPC man prototype.

Please note that the vast majority of the NPC accounts on Twitter violated no terms of use, and when their accounts got locked, they were given no reason for their being modded out of existence. Just another example of the social media platforms, no, PUBLISHERS, helping the Left.
For you non gamers (most people) comparing SJW’s to NPC’s is hilarious. Twitters reaction proves the point.
They are correctly concerned. NPC is the winning ticket for the Chilean Helicopter Tours of the Gulf Stream. The question is “Can they change?”

Since the Left owns social media, it’s no surprise they would want to control content. It’s not like they are known for unbiased media. If anything, seeing conservative content on their sites must make their blood boil.
