A pair of protesters confronted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in an airport over his vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, USA Today reported Wednesday.
"You think that putting a sexual assaulter on the court is a victory for women?" one of the women can be heard asking Cruz in a video posted to Twitter. Cruz responds, stating that he believes in due process.
The women then press Cruz about his support for Kavanaugh and ask the senator whether he believed the judge committed perjury during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee late last month regarding allegations of sexual assault.
Thank you for expressing your First Amendment rights, Cruz says to the women as he continues to walk quickly through the airport.
Shame on you, Ted Cruz! one of the women can be heard shouting repeatedly before the video ends.
The video comes as Cruz faces a tough re-election bid against Democratic challenger, Rep. Beto ORourke (Texas), in the run up to November's midterm elections.
Cruz leads O'Rourke by 7 percentage points, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polling. Nonpartisan political forecaster The Cook Political Report has rated the race a "toss-up."
Cruz and a number of other Republicans have been confronted by protesters in recent weeks over their support of Kavanaugh, who was confirmed to the high court earlier this month.
Protesters opposed to Kavanaugh approached Cruz and his wife at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., in September, demanding to know if he would vote for the judge's confirmation.
Cruz left the restaurant amid the protests.
Could somebody be alerting 'The Resistance' when Republicans are out in public?
These are not “protestors”
They are one step away from being rioters.
The puzzy hats will always be with you.
Cruz can write a letter to them after the election. I’m sure they can be identified. He can condemn their tactics and their lack of class and not give an inch. He can end the letters with the Trumpian phrase “ I’m a Senator and you’re not!”
They have enough critical mass (of insane zealots) to be able to put a body on both nationally prominent and local pols if they want - literally “trackers”.
And I agree, likely infiltrators and informants as well.
After all, Mad Maxine would be proud.
Getting into conservatives faces at restaurants and airports etc is not going to end well for these people. Right now it just generates tweets and internet posts but that may not always be the case.
America’s cultural revolution. The left are in an all out do or die war against America. Domestic enemies—traitors...These wannabe red guard should be stalked themselves...Harassed—No sleep. Their pathetic lives made a living hell.
Water cannons we need more water cannons.
DEMONcRAT thugs on parade. The Republicans need to video all of these obnoxious thugs and their antics and immediately put them in political TV ads.

Cruz wins with double digits!
Concealed carry discharge between the eyes. It would stop fairly quickly.
“Could somebody be alerting ‘The Resistance’ when Republicans are out in public?”
That, or they have people who follow them.
If I were in Senator Cruz’s (or any other Republican office holder for that matter) place, when departing to go somewhere I would use multiple vehicles. Say four black suburbans with one or two more low key non descript sedans pulling “rear guard” to spot any sort of tail. If one is spotted, the motorcade splits up and goes in different directions.
Also due to the deteriorating security situation I would authorize the use of military or other government aircraft for Republicans to use. The treasoncrats want to bitch about it, then they get told to STFU and reign in their NPC zombies.

Updated: 18 Oct: Fox News: Soros-backed group fires operative after arrest over alleged battery against GOP campaign manager
By Brooke Singman, Samuel Chamberlain; The Associated Press contributed to this report.
The liberal group American Bridge 21st Century announced Wednesday night that it had fired one of its operatives a day after he was arrested and accused of battery against the female campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt.
In a statement, American Bridge said that Mike Stark had been relieved of his duties “effective immediately.”
American Bridge was founded in November 2010 by David Brock, who also founded liberal watchdog group Media Matters. The groups largest donor is liberal billionaire George Soros, who contributed more than $2 million between 2015 and 2016. Soros is still involved with the group, most recently donating $300,000 in February, and $80,000 last year.
Stark, 50, was arrested by Las Vegas city marshals Tuesday evening after 31-year-old Kristin Davison said he grabbed and twisted her arm, refusing to let go...
Stark also has a record of arrests while working for American Bridge. He was arrested in October of last year for disorderly conduct at an event in Virginia while covering then-GOP gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie. He was found guilty of disorderly conduct in February of this year...
Earlier this year, Stark was arrested for allegedly assaulting the press secretary for Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke...
Democratic candidate Steve Sisolak and Nevada State Democratic Party officials have denied any connection to Stark.

Wow a whole pair of protestors
Wear headphones in those places, easily ignoring them.
It might enrage them more leading to them getting physical instead of just hysterical....but then they can be arrested and prosecuted.
The mob is still at it.
In what fantasy world is Cruz is a "tough reelection"? He's way ahead in the RCP average, above 50% in poll after poll, and has an 82% chance of winning according to the betting markets.
This is from the same media that keeps polling Texas rather than other Senate races. They need to get it through their deluded heads already that Cruz is going to win, it won't even be that close, and maybe they should poll actual competitive races, such as Florida, Missouri and Indiana.
