Charles Ludington, Lynne Brookes and Elizabeth Swisher attended Yale University from 1983 to 1987 with Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh.
We were college classmates and drinking buddies with Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh. In the past week, all three of us decided separately to respond to questions from the media regarding Bretts honesty, or lack thereof. In each of our cases, it was his public statements during a Fox News TV interview and his sworn testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that prompted us to speak out.
We each asserted that Brett lied to the Senate by stating, under oath, that he never drank to the point of forgetting what he was doing. We said, unequivocally, that each of us, on numerous occasions, had seen Brett stumbling drunk to the point that it would be impossible for him to state with any degree of certainty that he remembered everything that he did when drunk.
Since coming forward, we each have received numerous angry messages accusing us of attempting to ruin a mans life because of his drunken antics as a college student. In fact, none of us condemned Brett for his frequent drunkenness. We drank too much in college as well. It is true that Brett acknowledged he sometimes drank too many beers. But he also stated that he never drank to the point of blacking out.
All of us went to Yale, whose motto is Lux et Veritas (Light and Truth). Brett also belonged to a Yale senior secret society called Truth and Courage. We believe that Brett neither tells the former nor embodies the latter. For this reason, we believe that Brett Kavanaugh should not sit on the nations highest court.

No kidding. My friends would swear I was a church mouse. That’s because they are friends. There are opportunistic hacks
Yeah, here more than 30 years later, they are able to peer into his adolescent soul from back then, and categorically state whether or not he had ever been so drunk as to be unable to remember something.
Makes sense...
As a frat in the 1980s, I sometimes drank to excess. Others may have believed that I was so drunk as to later be unable to remember anything. They would be wrong.

“had seen Brett stumbling drunk to the point that it would be impossible for him to state with any degree of certainty that he remembered everything that he did when drunk.”
Many who are in a full blackout don’t stumble or act drunk at all.
.
Partisan hack joutmalists could only dig up three classmates willing to trash him? Kavanaugh must be a great guy.
I see. So what are these people doing now? Working at the DNC? Members of the Democratic Socialist Party? Happily spending their new Soros money???
and...............don’t forget he was good at athletics as well and that takes many hours of practice.
I know of NOT a single college student in the history of colleges going back to the first university in the world (Varanasi) where a frequent drinker came first in his class, and was a star athlete in sprints. Not a single one anywhere in any country.
I can believe Brett partied hard on weekends or such, but if he drank too much, even Sir Issac Newton (the most intelligent man who ever lived IMO) could not come first in undergrad and law college.
The whole line of questioning was set up to create a “well, how do you KNOW you didn’t try to rape someone, then?” question and was beneath the dignity of what the confirmation process should be.
Yes! The democrats are unhinged since a newbie politician beat out their “smartest woman in America”.
Another day, another hit piece.
If you were in college, youre guilty. No wonder people dont trust fake news.
The compassionate and tolerant folks now rage against drunk people. Never seen anything like it before.
You.knos how they lectured us to take sexual assault survivors at their word.
But Kavanaugh deserves to be scorned because he liked his beers as a young man. Oh my!
The republic will never live the revelation down.
They are not his friends. Most likely they are people who have been paid by the Soros/Democrat machine.
How do you like being judged for something you did when you were twenty?
Im not sure I liked how I lived my life back the and I sure to God wish that I lived some aspects of it differently.
What about the debauched young Augustine of Hippo? Ha would not pass the Democrat perfection test today.
