Just over a month away from critical elections across the country, the wide Democratic enthusiasm advantage that has defined the 2018 campaign up to this point has disappeared, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.
In July, there was a 10-point gap between the number of Democrats and Republicans saying the November elections were "very important." Now, that's down to 2 points, a statistical tie.

The tide isn’t turning at all.
All the push polls have been fake.
Bummer. That isn’t working out how it was intended.
Had to correct that. :)
I’m pissed. I’d crawl on my hands and knees to the polls now.
Thanks, DiFi!
Or early vote, or absentee, whatever it takes.
Ignore polls. Just vote.
I was always going to vote.
Now I’m so mad I’m going to vote 2 or 3 times ... Oh wait, I’m not a Democrat ...
I’m still going to vote once.
“While Democrats and Republicans are now equally enthusiastic about the midterms, the story is very different for key Democratic base groups and independents. While 82 percent of Democrats say the midterms are very important, that’s true of just 60 percent of people under 30, 61 percent of Latinos and 65 percent of independents.”
It’s a REGISTERED VOTERS poll, Red Wave a-coming!
The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll was conducted Monday. This question was asked of 996 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.
The NPR peeps must all be on Suicide Watch after having to report THAT, LOL!
Red Tsunami Ahead! MAGA! :)
Brett Kavanaugh has been and continues to be the biggest factor in turning the Midterm tide in favor of the GOP!!!!
#ConfirmKavanaughNow! And get out and VOTE ALL RED!!!!
If this turns out to be true, there aren’t enough “Ha Ha” memes on planet Earth to meet the demand we’ll need in November.
Gee, you think????????
The Dems decided to fall on their sword.. and guess what... they did.
Thats OK, just say that you identify as a Democrat and vote as many times as you like. Afterward, just tell anyone who asks that your truth is that you only voted once. Do that and youre golden in upside-down liberal land.
Oh No! Oh No! NPR are crying in their Lattes, sad faces abound. Break out the Bourbon boys and raise a glass.
All the push polls have been fake.
True that. All that is happening now is the pulling in of the most overt stuff to have at least a reach to the final results to save some credibility.
NPR’s take is no doubt “oh, crap the GOP is going to remain in control after this election. Better make nice to our right-wing overlords or they really WILL slash our funding next time!”
