Just over a month away from critical elections across the country, the wide Democratic enthusiasm advantage that has defined the 2018 campaign up to this point has disappeared, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.

With NPR reporting this, it's much grimmer than they're saying. :-)

I was always going to vote.

Now I’m so mad I’m going to vote 2 or 3 times ... Oh wait, I’m not a Democrat ...

I’m still going to vote once.

“While Democrats and Republicans are now equally enthusiastic about the midterms, the story is very different for key Democratic base groups and independents. While 82 percent of Democrats say the midterms are very important, that’s true of just 60 percent of people under 30, 61 percent of Latinos and 65 percent of independents.”

It’s a REGISTERED VOTERS poll, Red Wave a-coming!

The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll was conducted Monday. This question was asked of 996 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.

If this turns out to be true, there aren’t enough “Ha Ha” memes on planet Earth to meet the demand we’ll need in November.

”Now I’m so mad I’m going to vote 2 or 3 times ... Oh wait, I’m not a Democrat ...”

That’s OK, just say that you “identify” as a Democrat and vote as many times as you like. Afterward, just tell anyone who asks that “your truth” is that you only voted once. Do that and you’re golden in upside-down liberal land.

All the push polls have been fake.

True that. All that is happening now is the pulling in of the most overt stuff to have at least a reach to the final results to save some credibility.

NPR’s take is no doubt “oh, crap the GOP is going to remain in control after this election. Better make nice to our right-wing overlords or they really WILL slash our funding next time!”
