The "fancy DC restaurant" remains unnamed in every story I've seen so far. Name and shame the place. Who's protecting them ? (rhetorical question) The media won't name the restaurant, thus encouraging more of this behaviour. I want to know.
Once known, we must shout it far and wide.
Probably someone this socialist opponent has tailing him and his family for Soros (who probably paid for the protesters).
In that case the media will not hesitate to "out" the restaurant so their mobs of useful idiots and useless eaters can harass the ownership and staff.
This is a rerun of 1930s Germany, with conservatives as the Jews. Next Democrat control of government will bring official persecution and banning, followed eventually by death camps.

Don’t be surprised if we find out (at some point down the road) that some of these groups are rather well organized. They aren’t just incidental opportunists.
This is an expensive restaurant. Protestors don’t just “hang out” there.
Someone on their staff tipped off the ANTIFA/SOROS SWAT teams that Cruz was there.
Need more information then. The Red Hen’s owner made the decision to boot Sarah. It may not be the case here with Fiola. Was the waitress or waiter witness to this or were they busy elsewhere? I’m not ready to blacklist the restaurant yet. But if they were in on it then flux them.

Doesn’t matter, management should never have allowed it to escalate.
There are a lot of choices in restaurants. If they aren’t looking out for their patrons, that’s too bad.
They are absolutely well organized.
The federal civil service is infested with them.
With all the modern tools of government data bases at their disposal.
And one slight harm to a protester will bring two weeks of tearjerking stories on the media about the Thoreau like ,MLK like heroic demonstrator now living with a bruised cheek from a right wing dreg’s punch. The horror!
I really think it’s past time for one, or more, of the patriotic “biker clubs” to get involved to “gently persuade” these citizens from continuing to pull this crap.

You may be right about that. Ted Cruz will probably get asked more about it and details to follow. Is it correct the restaurant kicked out the protesters afterwards? If I was the owner of Fiola I would invite Ted back with a complimentary dinner for two for his trouble.
It’d be great to form a People’s Militia to help protect our conservative reps and Senators in public places, since Secret Service doesn’t seem to be available.
